Sewing Directions: Press all seams open and use ¼" seams, unless otherwise indicated.

1. Sew together one A triangle and one B triangle, along the long edge to make one 3-1/2” half-square triangle (HST) unit. Repeat to make (18) AB HST Units.

2. Refer to Figure 1 for fabric identification and number of units needed to make (144) assorted half-square triangle Units.

3. Following Figure 2, Sew together (16) assorted HST units, as shown, to make (1) 12-1/2” Block One square. Repeat to make (3) Block One squares total.

4. Following Figure 3, Sew together (16) assorted HST units, as shown, to make (1) 12-1/2” Block Two square. Repeat to make (3) Block Two squares total.

5. Following Figure 4, Sew together (16) assorted HST units, as shown, to make (1) 12-1/2” Block Three square. Repeat to make (3) Block Three squares total.

Quilt Top (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling)

1. Sew together (2) Block One squares and (1) Block Two square, in this order to make Row One.

2. Sew together (1) Block One square, (1) Block Two Square and (1) Block Three square, in this order to make Row Two.

3. Sew together (1) Block Two Square and (2) Block Three squares, in this order to make Row Three.

4. Sew rows together in numerical order. Press seams in opposite directions to make the 36-1/2” x 36-1/2” center block.

5. Trim (2) 1-1/2” X WOF Fabric D strip to measure 1-1/2” x 36-1/2”. Sew the strips to each side of the center block.

6. Trim (2) 1-1/2” X WOF Fabric D strip to measure 1-1/2” x 38-1/2”. Sew the strips to the top and bottom of the center block.

7. Trim (1) 2” X WOF Fabric C strip to measure 2” x 38-1/2”. Sew the strip to the left side of the center block.

8. Trim (1) 2” X WOF Fabric G strip to measure 2” x 38-1/2”. Sew the strip to the right side of the center block.

9. Trim (1) 2” X WOF Fabric E strip to measure 2” x 41-1/2”. Sew the strip to the top of the center block.

10. Trim (1) 2” X WOF Fabric F strip to measure 2” x 41-1/2”. Sew the strip to the Bottom of the center block.

11. Trim (2) 2” X WOF Fabric D strip to measure 2” x 41-1/2”. Sew the strips to each side of the center block.

12. Trim (2) 2” X WOF Fabric D strip to measure 2” x 44-1/2”. Sew the strips to the top and bottom of the center block.

Quilting and Finishing 1. Layer batting between quilt top and backing.

2. Pin or baste layers together.

3. Quilt as desired.

4. Add binding, mitering corners.
