Highland Fest and the Green Team
We had a booth at Highland Fest where people could write notes about how they used the river. We also used the cube of aluminum cans to encourage recycling, the wheel to help educate and a Gatorade display to walk about smart buying decisions.
Highland Fest and the Green Team
The wheel was a huge hit! We let the volunteers pick the topics based on what they were interested in talking about with the visitors.

Use the Community Power as much as possible. They are great to work with and have a huge amount of resources.
There were two different order forms for event supplies make sure you see both.
If you are working with students be patient and know they plan about 15 minutes ahead.
Recomendations
We are so pleased as a community organization to see how engage people are in recycling.
The assets Community Power brings is invaluable. We let visitors at Highland Fest know recycling was important to us and Power Grant helped us get that message out with great signage and resources.
We recycled ONE TON more than last year!
