Goals/Task Objectives

GAM’s task focus is on following sectors related to Rural

Development.

Energy – Distributed Generation (DG)

Organic fertiliser – from Biomass/Biogas Plants waste

Food Preservation/Processing – using waste heat of

Biogas engines

GAM is a section 25 company, which receives, any required managerial

& financial support from its main share holder, Ambience Management

Services Pvt Ltd (www.ambience-management.co.in)

Bio Technology for sustainable Agriculture

RBH Initiative of Government of India (GOI),

Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR)

RBH – GOI/MoPR – GAM Joint Initiative

Rural Business Hub (RBH) was an initiative of Government of India and CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) with mission of stimulating social economic activity in Rural India through optimal utilisation of locally available resources & skills.

RBH had 3 main components

– Energy

– Food Preservation and Process

– Macro Industry development

Note: Mr. K. Krishan functioned as Chairman of the Core Group on Power plus Member of the RBH Executive Council.

A key to widespread implementation of the RBH concept was successful implementation of “Pilot Projects”.

GoI/MoRP has hence entrusted GAM to develop “Pilot Projects” for Distributed Generation in various states of India.

Successful implementation of the “Pilot Projects” would facilitate widespread replication of Distributed Generation facilities (based on locally & sustainably available biomass).

Taluka based BiomassPower Plants

SEB’s/ State Transmission Corporations to invite PQ tenders

for Taluka based Power Plants.

The objective is to encourage Distributed Generation and

therefore meet local community energy needs, apart from

contributing to grid stability.

The tender should encourage Renewable Energy sources …

from economic as well as environmental considerations,

Distributed Power Generation based on Coal/Heavy Fuel Oil is

not recommended.

Optimisation of Biomass Power should be considered, as it is a

source of firm power.

Specific support to be given to plants ,which are based on

locally available agricultural/animal/industrial waste & have

downstream organic fertiliser units
