The bible says: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

Jabez ‘Name was so unique. Because his mother had many problems at the time of his birth, She named him’’ Jabez’’ which means’’ pain.

Growing up must have been difficult for Jabez. People made fun of him called him

‘’pain.’’ He grew up with so many problems. He also had to endure the

ridicule of the people.

Yet, Jabez always believed that God can help him. He knew that God is good. He prayed to God to give him blessings and

keep him away from danger. Also, he asked God to help him not to hurt others

or cause them pain.

God heard the prayer of Jabez. God helped him solve his problems. God really blessed his life. Jabez didn’t have to live in pain anymore people stopped making

fun of his name.

Because Jabez had faith in God, he saw how God answered him. His life

change. From a man who lived a life of pain, he lived with so much blessing.

Our lives can be change, to. If we trust God completely, we can also see answers to our prayers.
