The bible says: 2 Kings 5:1-16

There was a commander of an army named Naaman. He was sick of leprosy-a serious disease of the skin.

When looking for a cure, his wife’s helper told him about prophet Elisha. The helper believes that Elisha hears from God. He can help Naaman be cured.

So, Naaman went to Israel and stopped at the house of Elisha. Elisha

learned of this. He asked his messenger to give a special instruction to Naaman.

Naaman could not believed that prophet asked him to wash seven times in the Jordan River. He never wanted to obey Elisha ‘s instruction. But his servant convinced him to believe in the man of God.

Naaman decided to dip into the dirty Jordan River. He did this seven times just as the man of God told him As soon as he came out of the water for the last time, his skin was healed of leprosy. He turn to the house of Elisha and gave him gifts to thank him. Naaman knew that he was healed by God.

Today, when we get sick we can still pray to God. Because He is powerful, we believed that God can heal us from whatever sickness.
