Page 4: God's Grace - Part 4

Explanations on what God has done on the

cross:2) Regarding us:

we were delivered or rescued from

eternal damnation

We were RANSOMED!

Page 5: God's Grace - Part 4

ALL THESE POINT TO ONE THING:His salvation leads us to

VICTORY and we are rewarded with ETERNAL

life

Page 6: God's Grace - Part 4

In a legal sense, it means

declaring one just or

RIGHTEOUS

Romans 9:30-31; 3:9,19

(By the works of the LAW)

Jews & Gentiles & all of us!

Page 9: God's Grace - Part 4

Can each group of people do

anything to earn

JUSTIFICATION?

Page 10: God's Grace - Part 4

But God is the just GOD.

He takes no bribes,

He does not pervert justice, what is truth is

truth!

Page 11: God's Grace - Part 4

But when we received

Jesus (Romans 10:10),

something great

happened!

Page 12: God's Grace - Part 4

In a spiritual sense, GOD tapped the gavel and HE declared you“NOT GUILTY!”(Romans 3:21-

26)as if you have not

1) Through the redemption –that is in Christ Jesus! God set forth as propitiation, satisfied with the sacrifice by accepting itExpiation - removing the evil nature of sin

Page 15: God's Grace - Part 4

2) BY HIS blood

Page 16: God's Grace - Part 4

3) through faith

Page 17: God's Grace - Part 4

4) To demonstrate His righteousness not ours

Page 18: God's Grace - Part 4

5) His forbearance (passed over the sins that were previously committed)

Page 19: God's Grace - Part 4

6) That He might be JUST and the JUSTIFIER of the ONE WHO HAS FAITHin JESUS.(3:28 – apart from the deeds of the Law)

Page 20: God's Grace - Part 4

This is grace –something that God does without any regard for what we do or do not do

Page 21: God's Grace - Part 4

THERE IS ONE GOD

WHO JUSTIFIES!

Page 22: God's Grace - Part 4

No one should boast! (3:27;

4:2)Boasting is shut out from

our justification(I Cor.1:28-

Conclusion:If you are already a believer, do you realize now that when you come to Him, you should come to Him with all humility and respect and reverence–after all that He has done for you?

There are many people around us who have not experienced God’s grace yet. Remember

Page 24: God's Grace - Part 4

Action:Pray for someone who also needs grace now.

Page 25: God's Grace - Part 4

Reflection:1) Describe the feeling of someone ‘guilty” yet declared ‘not guilty”.2) Do you admit that, sometimes, you compare your own good works with others? How do you feel about this? The next time you have this feeing, how will you check yourself?3) Check your worship life. How do you show God’s grace in your worship?
