• There is an accused who may be innocent. • There is an accuser. • There is a violation or crime. • There is a victim (a person, place or thing). • There is one who is guilty. • There may be witnesses other than the victim. • There is an investigation by either party to gather evidence. • There is the evidence. • There is a judge. • There is a jury or ones who impartially review the evidence. • There is an advocate for the accused. • There is an advocate for the person wronged. • There is a time set for trial. • There is a decision. Guilt or innocence. • There is punishment for the guilty. • There may be compensation other than vindication for the

Personality Preserved in a New Body

Our personal identity is preserved in the resurrection, though not the same particles of matter or material substance as went into the grave. The wondrous works of God are a mystery to man. The spirit, the character of man, is returned to God, there to be preserved. In the resurrection every man will have his own character.
