• Cumulatively, more than $4.2 million in grants
have been awarded!
• The WCCF charges no fees to the donors or
participating charities.

• Thursday, September 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Credit card donations may be online – only
during giving window during September 12.
• Check donations must be received by 8 p.m.
on Gives day.

The Bonus Pool
• Estimated to be $100,000
• 50% will be pro‐rated based on the total
contributions received.
• 50% will be pro‐rated based on the total
number of donors.
FUNDRAISING STRATEGIES
REMINDERS & REQUESTS
• The official WCCF Gives Check Contribution Form
will be available in July.
• A completed form must accompany every check
contribution that is received.
• Anonymous cash donations will not be accepted.
• Checks should be made payable to “WCCF.”
• Please do not encourage your donors to split their
single gift into multiple checks.
REMINDERS & REQUESTS (CONT.)
• Donors may send their check donations directly to the WCCF office. To be bonus
pool eligible, they must be received by 8 p.m. on September 12. Each contribution
must be accompanied by a completed WCCF Gives Check Contribution Form.
• If your charity is collecting checks at your location, please deliver them to the
WCCF office no later than 5 p.m. on September 11.
REMINDERS & REQUESTS
• Charites may not use raffles or others games of chance to encourage WCCF Gives
donations.
• Quid pro quo contributions are not WCCF Gives eligible.
• Payment made partly as a contribution and partly in consideration for goods
or services
• A few examples of quid pro quo contributions include:
• Event registrations/sponsorships
• Program service payments
