To expedite Down Notification to fulfill the client customer machine tool down requirement. To validate the customer down order (Sales order) & material attributes against downs criteria. To analyze the stock requirement, customer demand history and usage of the material at sourcing

plant. To source the material across internal network plants (CDC’s/internal manufacturing

plants/Warehouses). To coordinate with regional planners, Customer Account Specialist, Customer Engineer & regional

DST for releasing the part to support down order. To create necessary transport orders (ICTO / STO) to ship the material from sourcing plant to

destination plant. To identify potential need for external procurement of the material requested for down support.

To follow up with vendor representative, downs buyer for getting an update on delivery schedule, shipping tracking details from vendor.

To provide an update on commit date, tracking details to customer for down orders requested. To provide end to end support for issues raised by shipping/logistic/down support team related downs process (Issues related to creation of STO/ICTO, creation of Delivery Note creation for STO/ICTO/Sales Order, changing material attributes & extension, GATP, Receiving Variance.
