Hello All, Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. It was good to see everyone at the breakfast New Year’s Day. We had several turn out for the lady’s lunch (Men also) at Max and Erma’s. Had a dinner ride to Castaway’s in Lancaster, hidden treasure with great variety of food. We are planning on having a great year of riding and dinners along with plenty of ice cream rides also. Always good to have everyone show up for the dinners and rides as this is what our Chapter is about riding and friendship. We have Cabin Fever coming up in February, hope to see everyone go and support the District team. It’s the people that make these things happen. Enjoy seeing other chapters you haven’t seen for a while, the fun and games. Chapter Director Sue Gundy
Chapter Assistant Director Wayne and Cathi Hughes Hello all, It seems amazing to me that we just joined this wonderful group about 20 months ago. We’ve had the privilege of riding with you all over the state and beyond in this short time. We’d been to other motorcycle rallies before but had never been to a Wing Ding until we started riding with the group though we’ve owned a Gold Wing since 2007. Please be patient with us as we feel our way into this new position as Assistant Chapter Directors. We’ll try our best to live up to the high standards set by previous Chapter and Assistant Chapter Directors. I want to send out a ‘Thank You!’ to Gary Ballou for the interesting presentation at the January meeting. I enjoyed listening to all of the tales and suggestions. We’ve had a great time riding with the group and meeting everyone and we look forward to more good times (and rides) in the new year ahead. Wayne & Cathi Hughes

MEMBERSHIP
Membership in any organization requires a commitment. If we choose to join a chapter or group or even GWRRA, sometimes our commitment is very serious. Most of us join to have fun and meet new people, or to have someone to ride with. Some that join and make the commitment eventually end up as officers or staff, making even more of a commitment. The hardest part is learning to work well with others and/being part of a whole. Let’s face it, to make anything in life work; we must learn to work as one. The rewards can far exceed what you expected. You get new friends, people to ride with and all those wonderful new places to visit...Also. The great rides getting there. Our Chapter B3 has made a commitment to GWRRA and our new extended family; our commitment is to support our enjoyment, growth and participation within our GWRRA family. We all try to make it the most fun and learning experience that we can. We are FRIENDS for FUN, SAFTEY, and KNOWLEDGE. We all know that we can do better, and there is always room for improvement. I ask you, what can you or I do to help make Chapter B 3 THE VERY BEST IT CAN BE. THINK ABOUT IT! There should be no MY CHAPTER, BUT ONLY OUR CHAPTER!!!!!! Chapter B3 is a Chapter that always works together............. PLEASE KEEP THE FOLLOWING IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS: Wayne & Cathi Hughes: the deaths of their Uncles..... Esther Ford & her family and Olivia and her parents...... Should I have missed anyone please let me know........... Always ride, and have FUN!!!!!!!!

Articles can be about a ride you went on, an event you attended, something you purchased for your bike that you think is really great, or anything you feel would be of interest to your fellow members. Photos can be in most common formats and are best if oriented long axis horizontally. We sincerely welcome contributions from our members. For Sale ads, by GWRRA Members, are also welcome for submission. Deadline for submission is the 24th of each month.

Hello Fellow Riders At the time of this writing it is cold and wet outside my home. It looks like it’s about time for our Cabin Fever to take place. I hope to see a lot of you there, this February 7/8, 2020 Salt Fork State Park Lodge, Cambridge, Ohio. If you have not registered the link to the form is: https://ohiogwrra.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2020-Cabin-Fever-Registration-002.pdf I have been busy getting all the required contracts signed and insurance setup for a Rider Courses in May. I hated to drop one weekend of classes, but attendance is dropping. Currently we have 9 registered Riders for the May 9 ARC, 4 registered Riders for the May 10 TRC, 1 registered Rider for the May 17 ARC. I am asking that you not wait to register for these very good courses. You get 3 hours of excellent classroom discussion of relevant road strategies to keep you riding longer with much satisfaction, followed by 4 hours of range work to challenge your skills in a safe environment.
