HOLIDAY ISLAND DRIVING RANGEThe Holiday Island Driving Range is the most unique in the state. It is situated in the middle of two hillsides with a creek running through the bottom. There are no roads or traffic in sight, with a view of Ozarks filled with trees, birds, deer, wild turkeys and if you’re lucky some of the more rare wildlife the area has to offer. There is a seating area for relaxing that is shaded and the peace and quiet is unbelievable. If you are up for it there is a walking trail that traverses the entire locale safe from the range area.

Bags of balls may be purchased in the pro shop and a golf cart will be loaned to you to get to the driving range. The ride down is half the fun. Range passes can be purchased monthly or yearly. Be sure to check the pro shop hours – we stop selling balls ½ hour before we close. Mondays and Thursdays the range is closed for maintenance in the morning.

The 9 Hole course has 2 sets of tees:

An Executive Layout with yardage of 1,832, with the longest hole of 345 yards

A Par-3 Layout of 1,005 and holes, ranging from 80 to 160 yards

The 9 hole course does not take Tee Times, but does book small groups from time to time, best to call ahead.

GOLF COURSE RULESn All players are required to check in with the cashier and are to have

a valid dated receipt in their possession at all times while on the golf course.

n All players must start their round on #1 tee unless instructed other-wise by the pro shop staff.

n Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

n Balls hit on or across district roads or into private yards are consid-ered out of bounds. Golf balls shall not be hit from, or carts driven on, private property or roads not used for crossing areas.

n If a group is unable to maintain their position on the golf course and a full hole is constantly open in front of them, that group must allow the group following them to play through.

n The staff reserves the right to pair each golfer with other players during heavy play.

n Must have a valid driver license to rent or drive a cart.

HOLIDAY ISLAND CARTSn All Holiday Island Golf carts are rented on a per seat basis. (each cart

has seating for two)

n Holiday Island reserves the right to sell each and every seat.

n Any one requesting to ride alone will be required to pay for both seats.

n Any groups that have only one player in two or more rented carts will be required to pair up whenever possible.

n Anyone checking in unless walking must pay a cart fee or tell us the name of the person with a private cart fee they are riding with. If after the fact they end up ridding with a person with a private cart a refund or credit will be given. The name of the person they rode with must be given.

n Any one riding in a cart owned by Holiday Island will be required to pay a cart fee.

n Anyone wishing to ride in a Holiday Island cart by themselves will be required to pay double fees.

n Anyone riding in a Holiday Island golf cart playing or not will be re-quired to pay a cart fee.

n When checking in you will be issued a key. This must be returned at the end of your round in the pro shop or at the drop box.

n At the end of your round please unload and return your cart before socializing.

n Golf carts are not allowed to leave the golf course property.

PRIVATE GOLF CARTSn Anyone paying a private cart fee, along with their family members, will

be allowed to use their cart on Holiday Island Golf Courses.

n Private Cart fees cover only the individual or family members living in the household. These carts may not be loaned out. There must be at least one owner in the cart.

n Private carts owned by 2 non-family individuals must pay two fees.

n Any non owner riding in a private cart must give us the owners name at check in.

THE HOLIDAY ISLAND MEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATIONHIMGA (Holiday Island Men’s Golf Association) is open to all adult males. League day is every Tuesday throughout the season They provide a week-ly schedule of events April through October with both team and individ-ual competitions. HIMGAs mission is to promote the game of golf, good sportsmanship, social relationships and proper etiquette. HIMGA estab-lishes handicaps for all players during league play and offers both a 9 hole and 18 hole division weekly. There are no sign ups – just show up at least one half an hour before play starts.

FEES: New members will pay a onetime fee of $100 in addition to a $35 annual fee thereafter. There is a $5 entry fee for the weekly game of which winners are paid and any cart or green fees that apply.

HOLIDAY ISLAND LADIES GOLF ASSOCIATIONHILGA (Holiday Island Ladies Golf Association) meets on Wednesdays throughout the season. HILGA offers both 9 and 18-hole leagues. The formats vary weekly with a combination of scrambles, individual low gross and net, match play and a lot of just-for-fun events. Players of all levels are welcome. The league provides players with handicaps at no charge throughout the season.

COST: $40 yearly membership fee. $5 weekly fee paid out to winners, and any cart or green fees that apply.

PAR 3 LEAGUEThe par-3 league is designed for players at any level. The format is a scramble each week pairing players evenly so everyone can compete. This league is fun no matter what your skill level. Last year was the first year for this league and every one finished in the money and had lots of fun. All rounds are played at the executive 9-hole course.

COST: $10 to join the league (covers the price of a party at the end of the season.) $3 Nightly fee 100% to be paid out each week to winners and any green fees or cart fees that apply.

OLD COOTS LEAGUEThe Old Coots League plays every Thursday during the season and is open anyone at any skill level. This is a 9 hole league and played on the front 9 only where the hills do not cause a burden on backs and knees. This is great for our older players. The format of play is a scramble each week and teams are drawn at random after dividing players into groups of A, B, C &D players. This group loves the friendship of all the players and look out for each other during the round. This does not mean that they don’t take their game seriously but helping each other is always in the forefront.

FEES: $10 League Fee at the beginning of each season. $3 daily fee paid out weekly for the event of the day and any cart or green fees that apply.

NINE & DINENine & Dine is an informal group of golfers (men and women) of all skill levels who gather on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month during the golf season for fun and fellowship. The evenings include a golf scramble on the 9 hole golf course followed by a meal in the island room. There are no membership fees. Golf and cart fees are per normal HISID fee struc-ture and meal prices are set annually based on the catering costs. For the 2018 season the price will be $11 per person. People planning on eating bring their own table service and beverages. The only prizes are bragging rights and first-in-line at the buffet.

Unless otherwise announced players gather at the Rec Center. Dinners will follow golf. Participants must sign up to play by noon on Wednesday so that the meal can be arranged. Once you sign up you are responsible for the meal cost even if you cancel playing. In case of rain it’s dine only at 5:30.

HOLIDAY ISLAND GRILLThe Holiday Island Grill is located at the 18 Hole Golf Course. We have in-door and outdoor seating with panoramic views of the golf course and the beauty of the Ozarks. The Grill is open everyday for breakfast and lunch with dinners on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.We offer a large selection of items with all our meals and weekly specials for breakfast and dinner. Check our website for menus and specials. We also offer a variety of beer and wine to enjoy with your meal, or just relaxing with friends on our deck.Catering is available for groups of any size with seating in the lounge, outside covered decks or in the ballroom. Birthdays, family reunions, tournaments and weddings are all within our capabilities. We can ac-commodate small groups or large ones of over 200.
