How do I register for the Leave No Veteran Behind 2nd Annual Golf Tournament?

You can register by visiting: Leave No Veteran Behind 2nd Annual Golf Tournament. Along the right side of our website, you will find several different ways to register for the tournament – as an individual, sponsor or team. Just click on your choice and you’ll be prompted for registration and payment information. You will also see an option to make a general (or additional) donation to support LNVB goals.

Can I register a team to play?

Yes, absolutely. There is an option under “Buy Tickets” on the registration site which reads: 4-Person Team (Veteran or Non-Veteran). Click on it and register team name.

What type of format will be used for tournament play?

There will be two formats for this year’s tournament:

• Four person scramble - Create teams of four players and count one score on each hole for the entire team. Each player takes a shot from the tee, then the team decides which tee shot was best, and all players hit their second shot from that spot. The team continues to hit that way until someone sinks a putt. The same format continues on each subsequent hole.

• Shotgun start - All groups of players tee off simultaneously from different holes.

There are many ways you can get involved in this year’s tournament as a sponsor. All proceeds go to support educational and employment opportunities for returning veterans. Below are sponsorship levels and you can click here to learn more about offerings for each level.

In addition to showing support to our nation’s heroes, by registering and coming to the Leave No Veteran Behind 2nd Annual Golf Tournament, you qualify to possibly be the lucky winner of several premium, top-shelf and exciting prizes. Who is Leave No Veteran Behind? Leave No Veteran Behind (LNVB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit service run by combat veterans that provides educational, employment, and community service opportunities for veterans facing economic hardship. Whether providing educational debt relief to veterans not covered by existing veteran educational programs and/or providing returning veterans’ transitional employment and on the job training opportunities, we ensure that no veteran is left behind. Veterans helped by our programs are required to give back by providing community service opportunities in their communities. What shows up on my statement?

Is my donation tax deductible?

You will receive an email receipt which will list the portion of your ticket purchase that may be tax deductible. Leave No Veteran Behind is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization with the IRS, and your donation is fully tax-deductible within the guidelines of the U.S law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record.

Do I get a receipt?

A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide on this form. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processed.
