20 years of growth3
Early Days
From humble beginnings as a family business initiative in 1996 with very limited resources, BQ Contractors
Limited has evolved to become a key player in the construction sector in mechanical, civil and building.
Corporate restructuring in 2007 saw to the establishment of a strong foundation for good corporate governance and strict financial control. The enterprising relations with industry players were a huge motivation.
Doing the Right Thing in a Modern Way
Our philosophy towards professionalism, experience and commitment for success meant that we focus on an enterprising investment on machinery and the use of the latest technology.
This went hand in hand with training of our own staff on the best practices in view not to compete but to do the right thing in a modern way.
To complement our efforts, foreign expertise was engaged to transfer knowledge to Tanzanians. Today we take pride in our ability to combine expertise with diversity as we creatively and innovatively endeavor to complement our client’s expectations and secure value for money.
Our Dream
We are inspired by the founder’s desire to build an efficient contracting firm that would consistently exceed client expectations in the delivery of quality construction works and services at international standards.
