What is Google Glass?

Google Glass is a wearable computer with an optical head-mounted display (OHMD) that is being developed by Google in the Project Glass research.

Their mission is to produce  a mass-market ubiquitous computer.

How does it work?

The Glass displays information in a smartphone-like hands-free format

It can communicate with the Internet via natural language voice commands.

Lenses

Google is considering partnerships with sunglass retailers such as Ray-Ban to provide lenses for the glass.

They confirmed that Glass will eventually work with frames and lenses that match the wearer's prescription glasses

Prices These glasses cost between $2,000 and

$4,998.
