1 Get Started
1.1 Installing the system
Describe the procedures that the user must perform so they can access/install software,
configure software, delete data, and setup software operations.
When you buy the program you will receive a download link that will point to a file with the name
ToucheGoogleMapsExtractor.zip. Please download this file to a folder in your PC and then
unzip it using Winzip, WinRar or other similar tool. We will show you how to unzip using WinRar,
but the process will be very similar for the other tools.
Please follow these steps to unzip your installer:
Press Extract to for unzip this application.
Choose the folder where do you want to have the application unzip and press OK.
Search a file with the name ToucheGoogleMapsExtractorStup.exe in the folder that
you choose. This will be the main installer. Keep copy of this file just in case you need to
reinstall the software in the future.
Do a double click over this file and a main window will appear to install the program.
Click Next to continue.
Select Browse to choose the folder where do you want to install the tool and press Next
to continue. We recommend let this setting with the default path.

Select Browse to choose the folder where Setup will create the program’s shortcuts in
the Star Menu and press Next to continue. We recommend let this setting with the
default path.
Select the additional icons that you want to include in your desktop or quick launch
toolbar to start Touche Google Maps Extractor and click Next to continue.
Review the information and press Install.
Press Finish to complete the installation.

2 Step by Step Instructions for using the system
2.1 How to do a Simple Search.
Go to the section “Category” and press button Add. In the new Window (Add Cate-
gory) enter the element that you want to search and press OK.
Go to the section “Location” and press button Add. In the new Window (Add Loca-
tion) enter the location that you want to search and press OK.
Press Start to begin the search.
After getting the results press Stop to finish the search.

If you want to do another search, select all previous elements in each section and
delete or uncheck those previous elements and Add new items.
2.2 How to do an Advanced Search.
Go to the Section Categories and press button Add. In the new Window Add
Category enter the element that you want to search and press OK.
Go to the Section “Location” and press button Add. In the new Window (Add Loca-
tion) go to the Country, Region, City or Zip Code that you want to search and press
OK.
Press Start to begin the search.
You can let the tool unattended or if you want to stop it after got some results press
Stop to finish the search.

2.3 How to Export Results as KML
In the section Results, select the item to export using CTRL and SHIFT Keys or
press the button Select All.
Press the button Export as KML.
When the new window appears, select the folder where do you want to export the
results. A new KML file will be created per each item.
Search on your computer the previous selected folder and open it. You will find the
KML files inside.
Double click in any of these files to open it with Google Earth. You will see the se-
lected business appear in the Google Earth globe, from that point you can enjoy all
the features of this tool.

2.4 How to Export Data to Excel
In the section Results, select the items to export using CTRL and SHIFT Keys or
press the button Select All.
Press the button Export Data.
When the new window appears, select the folder where do you want to export the
results as data in your PC.
Search on your computer the folder selected and double click to open it with Excel.
You will see the elements organized by columns inside the Excel sheet.

2.5 Change Settings
Press Settings to customize the main options of the tool.
When a new window appears you can see selected the tab Connections. Keep se-
lected Don’t use proxy if you don’t need it to connect to Internet using your browser
.
Go
Select Use this proxy if you use one or several proxies to protect your identity and
enter Hosting Code and Port. You can use any anonymous proxy. Select Need Au-
thentication if it is required and enter Username and Password.
Select the option Use Random Proxy from the list if you want to use a different
proxy each time application do a request.
You need to provide a list of proxies in the format SERVER:PORT one per line.
It’s recommended that you enter a random delay between requests to simulate a
human surfing in a browser. An interval between 2-7 seconds I’t s ok,

In the second tab you will find all the settings related the columns to export to excel.
Check the columns to export in the list. We recommend let this with the default val-
ues.
The option Automatic Export while search allow saving results in files with category
names automatically.
The option Validate Longitude/Longitude skip the extraction of items without a valid
longitude and longitude, we suggest keep this option unchecked to get more results.
Press Save to store changes
