Before her injury, this patient was a student and also had part-time work. She enjoyed a very active social life, including volunteer work in the church.

She was engaged to be married. She drove a car, lived at home with her mother and with her two young children.

She helped her mother with all daily chores. She did not have any relevant pre-existing condition.

After her injury, this 20-year-old patient is not currently working but has resumed her pre-injury household activities and her studies.

She takes care of her children independently, drives them to school every day and continues to volunteer in the church.

She has kept up her social interactions and cannot say they are less than before the accident, but she and her fiancée have broken up.

She can completely take care of herself and can independently use transportation, shop and manage money.

She suffers from occasional strains and headaches triggered by noise, light or chewing.
