Wednesday

We all put on our dancing shoes and Miss Ingamells taught us some Salsa. We clapped in time to the music with a

123, 567, beat. Then we moved our feet to the same beat. We added in moves to the side, which is a side step

then danced with a partner. It was great fun!

Thursday

Friday We had a great time in our poetry workshops. We spoke about our family’s heritage and wrote

poems about our home countries. Neal Zelter was our visiting poet and he performed his work

for us and parents.

We all had a fantastic day in our drumming

workshops. We learnt how to drum a sentence into a

beat, Richard also taught us that hitting different

parts of the drum makes different noises.
