What is CLP system? CLP is a complex system built up of PVC and

cross linked polymer. Its essentiality is, on one

hand - against other technical solutions – that

CLP ensures throughout the intensive usage the

constant parameters not only on the surface,

but in the cross section of the surface: the

durability of the product increases, which in-

volves that the degree of wear and tear decreas-

es. On the other hand due to the high density of

the cross links, CLP diminishes the adhesion of

the contamination on the surface, substantially

improving the cleanibility of the flooring.

Enviromental attributes of Grabo vinyl sheet floorings

No harmful materials: Grabo floorings are metal and solvent free result-

ing in reduced global environmental pollution.

No wax: Grabo floorings have reduced cleaning requirements. Environ-

mental impact is lessened by: no energy needs for waxing, reduced en-

ergy needs for cleaning, reduced cleaning agent use, reduced water use,

and reduced wastewater generation.

Reduced lifecycle cost: Over the extended lifespan of Grabo floorings

installation competing floors may need to be replaced 2 times resulting

in negative environmental impacts such as energy use for removal and

disposal of the existing floor; energy and resource use involved in new

product manufacturing, transportation and installation; and finally the

additional cost of the new installation.

What is graboSAN?

No surface is more at risk of contamination than the floor. In healthcare one of the most important steps in reducing the spread of infectious diseases is the cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces. Routine cleaning with detergent and water is use-ful for removing visible dirt and germs, but floor coverings require an additional performance to reduce the number of germs.

Therefore Grabo invented graboSAN, the anti-microbe additive contained surface treatment against mold, fungi, yeast, algae and bacteria. The results of the test method given in the International Standard ISO 846:1997 certify that no significant microbe growth could be observed on the graboSAN surface treated floors. The tests have been carried out with the Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterium, which is one of the most common pathogens involved in hospital infections causing pneumonia, and with Aspergillus niger fungus, which causes a disease called black mold on certain fruits and vegetables.

Answering to the today’s healthcare difficulties, Indepen-dent Clinical Research tests certify that Grabo products with graboSAN inhibit the growth of MRSA (Methicillin- resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and C.difficile (Clostridium difficile) bacteria, which are responsible for difficult-to-treat infections in humans because its resistance to certain anti-biotics. Due to the surface treatment with graboSAN these floor coverings can be qualified as resistant to bacteria and mildew. However the best defence beyond the sanitized sur-face is an effective cleaning with disinfecting agents. Grabo floorings due to its extreme resistant surface can be cleaned with wide range of disinfective cleaning agents without any problems. With the help of Grabo vinyl sheet flooring treated with gra-boSAN microbes can be easily localized and eliminate be-

fore causing infections.

graboSAN

Grabo invented graboSAN, the anti-microbe additive

contained surface treatment against mold, fungi, yeast,

algae and bacteria. Due to the graboSAN surface treatment

these floor coverings can be qualified as resistant to bacte-

ria (such as MRSA) and mildew. Grabo floorings due to its

extreme resistant surface can be cleaned with wide range of

disinfective cleaning agents without any problems.

What is CLP system?

CLP is a complex system built up of PVC and cross linked

polymer. Its essentiality is, on one hand – against other

technical solutions – that CLP ensures throughout the inten-

sive usage the constant parameters not only on the surface,

but in the whole cross section of the surface: the durability

of the product increases, which involves that the degree of

wear and tear decreases. On the other hand due to the high

density of the cross links, CLP diminishes the adhesion of

the contamination on the surface, substantially improving

the cleanibility of the flooring.
