arrived and we look forward to showing them to the children.

to a book (or a sign showing the title and author) that can be carried by

your child. As the weather is still cold, the children need to have warm

clothes as part of their outfit. Simple costumes can be easy with card-

Literacy & Numeracy

K/6E and K/2B have implemented rotational literacy and numeracy activities for

students each day. Students have been working with Mrs Ratcliff and their classroom

staff to use formal and informal measurement units, and repeated measurement skills

to measure a variety of objects in the classroom.

The students are enjoying the new daily routine.

Goulburn South Equestrian Team

Goulburn South is seeking expressions of interest from students interested in competing

and representing our school in Interschool Equestrian carnivals across NSW. There will

be approximately 2 or 3 competitions for the year.

If you are an equestrian and wish to compete, Goulburn South Equestrian Team wants

you to join us in our first competition on the 10th of September at Bicentennial Park –

Camden.

This Equestrian Carnival includes rider classes, hack classes, pairs, best educated / pre-

sented, versatility mount, handy pony and show jumping. There will be five rings that

comprise of a beginner’s ring, right through to an open ring. Each ring caters to your

level of riding. A Special needs ring is also part of the program for students with a physi-

cal or intellectual disability.

Entry fees apply, however the team are in the process of putting together some spon-

sorship from local businesses to help with these costs.

If you are interested or would like more information on the carnival please contact the

school on 48212759.

Goulburn Pre-School 30 Year Anniversary Pathway Project

Goulburn Pre-school has been operating for 30 years! To help celebrate this special milestone we in-

vite past and present families to purchase a paver which will be used to complete our front pathway.

Our goal is to engage 100 families to get the pathway started — a lovely way to leave your mark on

Goulburn Pre-School! To take part in this offer, simply complete an order form for either an engraved

printed paver or hand drawn paver and return to our pre-school with your payment of $40 by 31 Au-

gust 2016. The pathway will be unveiled in Spring 2016 — the exact date will be notified to partici-

pating families via email. We hope you can come along to the unveiling to take a photo of your paver

like a Hollywood star on our pre-school walk of fame! For further information or to obtain an order

form, please call the office on 02 4821 9047 or visit our website www.goulburnpreschool.org.au
