In 2005, Dr. Manmohan Singh together with DP World Chairman Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem had laid the foundation stone for the Vallarpadam International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT) at Kochi, Kerala.

ON 11TH FEB 2011, THE PRIME MINISTER INAUGURATED AND DEDICATED THE NEW TERMINAL TO THE INDIAN NATION IN AN EVENT EXECUTED BY 70 EMG AND ATTENDED BY OVER 5000 CUSTOMERS, OFFICIALS & DIGNITARIES.

THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY TOURS OF THE TERMINAL FOR VIP GUESTS AS WELL AS MEDIA, LUNCH AND A PRESS CONFERENCE WITH THE DP WORLD OFFICIALS.

70 EMG was the logistics, ground production, event execution and hospitality partner for the event in charge of the main inauguration at the DPW terminal, gala lunch and press conference at Taj Malabar.

DP WORLD PORT LAUNCH

70 EMG in partnership with The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India (GJEPC) has developed and grown the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) to become the largest Gem and Jewellery exhibition, conference and seminar conclave in Asia.

Over 800 exhibiting companies from India and abroad, display their products and services to more than 30,000 registered business visitors over 5 days. IIJS attracts more than 2,000 international visitors, staying in a range of hotels all directly serviced and looked after by 70 EMG’s Hospitality teams.

BMW GUGGENHEIM LAB The BMW Guggenheim Lab is a mobile laboratory traveling around the world to inspire innovative ideas for urban design and new ways of thinking about urban life. Traveling to 9 major cities worldwide over 6 years, the lab is led by international, interdisciplinary teams of emerging talents in the areas of urbanism, architecture, art, design, science, technology, education, and sustainability. The Lab addresses issues of contemporary urban life through programs, projects, and public discourse. Having launched in New York in August 2011 and travelled through Berlin in 2012. The next stop for the lab was in Mumbai in late 2012.

THE LAB WAS PRESENTED IN COLLABORATION WITH THE DR. BHAU DAJI LAD MUSEUM, OPERATED AT SIX SITES THROUGHOUT THE CITY FROM DECEMBER 9, 2012 THROUGH JANUARY 20, 2013, MAKING PROGRAMMING AND PARTICIPATORY STUDIES AVAILABLE TO A DIVERSE RANGE OF AUDIENCES AND COMMUNITIES. 23,861 VISITORS OF ALL AGES ENGAGED IN 165 PROGRAMS OVER 29 DAYS, INCLUDING DESIGN PROJECTS, SURVEYS, TOURS, TALKS, WORKSHOPS, AND FILM SCREENINGS.

Seventy EMG was in charge of managing every aspect of the event right from liaising with the venues, securing permissions, planning the manpower and coordinating the production and logistics.

THE 2010 BELGIAN ECONOMIC MISSION TO INDIA WAS PRESIDED OVER BY THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES OF BELGIUM, PRINCE PHILLIPE AND PRINCESS MATHILDE. INDIA AND BELGIUM WERE UNITED AT A GALA EVENING, TO DISCOVER AND CELEBRATE THE TWO WORLDS READY TO MEET IN BUSINESS, FOOD, FASHION, ART AND CULTURE.

Seventy EMG designed and produced the Gala Evening as part of the high security, socio- economic, cultural mission to India.

INDO-BELGIAN GALA DINNER

70 EMG ORGANIZED AND EXECUTED THE CZECH DESIGN SHOW, AT THE CZECH REPUBLIC EMBASSY IN DELHI. THE EVENING CONSISTED OF A FASHION SHOWPRESENTED BY RENOWNED CZECH FASHION DESIGNER MRS. LIBENA ROCHOVA, WHO SHOWCASED HER SENSUALLY ENHANCED TREATMENT OF FABRICS AND PAPER. MRS. LIBENA ROCHOVA HAS BEEN AWARDED THE TITLE OF CLOTHING DESIGNER OF THE YEAR, IN 2008 AND 2010, AT THE CZECH GRAND DESIGNS. THE FASHION SHOW WAS FOLLOWED BY A PERFORMANCE BY JAZZ BAND GANESH DUTTA & FRIENDS, AT THE GALA EVENING.

H.E Mr. Miloslav Stašek, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to India and H.E Mr. Milan Štech, President of the Senate of the Czech Republic greeted the gathering. H.E. Shri Virbhadra Singh, Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises was Chief Guest at the event.
