The uadersiined ii directed to refer t11 the decisions take• i11 tile meeting of the Committee en Peasio11er1 Affairs held e>Q 23rd April. 1992 under the Chairmanship ef Chief Secretary as per the minutes thereof issued vida finance Department endonement No. A/25 (87)-IH/328 dated 26th May. 1992 (copy enclosed for ready reference). Among other things, it has been decided iQ the said meeting that tlte min imUJ) pension/ family pension be raised from Rs. 325/· t<t R1. 375/· in respect of the existing pensioners (pre 1st April, 1992 Pensioners) in terms of S!.0·7/ dated 30th March, 1992, by the Treasury Officers themselves wichoat requiri.Qa a fteala authcaritJ from the Accountant General.

It may be recalled that the mmuaum pension/family pension ha1 been raised to Rs. 875/- P. M. w. •· f. 1st April, 1992 in respect of all the existing pension en including f amity pensioners (pre lat April, 1992 P•naioners) vide Notif1catioq SR0-77 dated SOth March, 1992. Acccordingb all the pensioners/family pensieners drawing pension/family pension of le88 than R1. 375/- 1baII be entitled to draw R1. 37~/p. M. w. •· f . 1st April, 1992· No fresh authorisation from the Accountant General for the purpose shall be requited for this purpose. All the Treasury Officers should therefore beaides taking necessary action in respect of the pensioners/family pensionera drawing pension/family peaaion dnectly frf>m the trta1uries inform the concerned branches of the J&K Bank wherefrom the pensioners/family pentionera draw their pension/family pension about the enhancement of the basic pension/family pension to Rs. 375/ · P.
