Education and Care Services National Amendment Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1. Citation

These regulations are the Education and Care Services National Amendment Regulations 2014.

2. Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3. Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012.

4. Regulation 62 amended

After regulation 62(3) insert:

(4) An education and care service in a particular jurisdiction may also be given an Exceeding National Quality Standard rating for a quality area stated in the National Quality Standard if the service is entitled to that rating under a provision (if any) set out in Chapter 7 for that jurisdiction.

Notes:

1. This regulation differs from regulation 62 of the national regulations made by the Ministerial Council.

2. For WA specific provisions, see regulation 368A.

5. Part 7.9 Division 1A inserted

After Part 7.9 Division 1 insert:

Division 1A — Exceeding national quality standards

368A. Exceeding national quality standards: educational program and practice quality area

(1) For Western Australia, an education and care service is entitled to be given an Exceeding National Quality Standards for the educational program and practice quality area if —

(a) the service has a documented arrangement for a kindergarten programme to be provided by a school for children who are educated and cared for by the service; and

(b) if the arrangement is generally available to children educated and cared for by the service, the service informs parents of the arrangement.

(2) This regulation is in addition to regulation 62(2).

Note: The national regulations made by the Ministerial Council does not include provisions as Part 7.9 Division 1A.

6. Regulation 374A amended

In regulation 374A(2) delete “1 August 2014” and insert:

Liquor Control (Noonkanbah Restricted Area) Amendment Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council on the recommendation of the Minister under section 175(1a) of the Act.

1. Citation

These regulations are the Liquor Control (Noonkanbah Restricted Area) Amendment Regulations 2014.

CHANGE IN FEE FOR SERVICE CHARGE FOR POTATOES The Agricultural Produce Commission hereby notifies that the Fee for Service charge on potatoes is as follows, effective from 1 July 2014— Processing potatoes export and local $6.00 per tonne Ware (fresh) potatoes export $6.00 per tonne. Ware (fresh) potatoes local $8.00 per tonne. Seed potatoes export and local $150 per hectare based on an average yield of

25 tonnes per hectare which equates to $6.00 per tonne.

The above fees include an increase to ware (fresh) local potatoes, seed potatoes and processing (export and local) potatoes, with no change to ware (fresh) export potatoes.
