VBS – Save the date for our annual Vacation Bible School – 9AM – noon on Monday – Friday, July 7-11, at Grace Chapel. This is a free event for children who are entering K-5th grades this fall. This is an excellent opportunity for kids to bring a buddy! Registration is

Senior Recognition & Celebration – TODAY. The seniors will be recognized during the morning assembly, and the celebration will take place during Youth Night dinner tonight. This major milestone is a great opportunity to bless these young people with gifts, so

baskets will be available by their memorabilia display tables in the Fellowship Area all day to collect items.

needs help

Do you use ANY social media? You can help.

Marcelina is a 9 year old girl that lives at Ciudad de Angeles children’s home in

Mexico. Marce is deaf, and needs our help, because SHE can’t write fund raising

letters or make phone calls or write emails, or post to facebook or pinterest, or

tweet her own story.

The Board of Ciudad de Angeles has decided to approve cochlear implant surgery

for Marce. The surgery and therapies that follow, to help Marce hear and

interpret sound, eventually leading to speech and language, are expensive. Over

$140,000. Grace Chapel has been an anchor congregation supporting Ciudad de

Angeles for many years, and we are represented on the Board of Directors.

The funding for this blessing for Marce is completely separate from all care of the

angels and other operations at Ciudad, and is beginning now through several

processes. We would appreciate your using your social media networks

(facebook friends, twitter followers, linkedin contacts, even email) to spread the

word about this need. This crowdfunding link is one way to interest other people

who have not been involved with Ciudad in the past

help, and have her story “go viral”. Sharing this with all of our friends is

something we can do to accomplish this blessing for sweet Marcelina!

Angeles family and Board of Directors, into a true good work in God’s name.
