Mediation (to be completed before lodging an application)
Magistrates Court Mention (short hearing regarding paperwork requirements)
Magistrates Court or District Court hearing (depending on the crime or amount of money involved)
Continuing on to Supreme Court if case is warranted
- From the date of seeing your solicitor to an application being lodged it may take months before the application is lodged
- 6. It may be up to two years before your matter goes to trial, with many many court hearings in between
