ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHTSEnglish Language: There is focus on improving reading and writing skills and vocabulary development.
Grammar is taught in an informal manner with focus on using it right. The sessions are interactive, using
active learning strategies.
Mathematics: Lessons are taught through active learning strategies, group work and flipped classroom
approach.
Social Studies: Lessons are taught through role play, PowerPoint presentations, group presentations and
flipped classroom methodology.
General Science: Students engage themselves in various effective hands-on activities and
interactive projects using the enquiry based learning approach.
Hindi: Lessons are taught through interactive sessions, brainstorming and research methodology.
New vocabulary, writing and speaking skills are developed.
French: There is focus on improving spellings, conversation, vocabulary
development and pronunciation. The sessions use active learning strategies.
Computer Science: Videos and interactive discussions drive the classes.
Demonstrations in the Computer Lab are combined with lab activities.
Worksheets are given to check understanding.
SCHOOL NEWS!
Our senior school students from grades 9 and 11 visited the United Nations, New York,
in February 2019 as part of the Future Leaders Programme and presented their
community outreach projects to a rapt audience.
MORE SCHOOL NEWS!Students from grades 11 and 12 visited the CERN Institute, Geneva, in June 2019
for a Master Class and had thrilling visits to the Antimatter Factory, the
Synchrocyclotron and the Compact Muon Solenoid or CMS experiment site.

Elections @ NAFL was conducted using a software developed by our own students. The project was developed bya student during training collaborationwith CISCO, Bengaluru.On election day, students from grades 6to 12 got to use the smart app and voted in their leaders.
