Creative Writing continues this month with a clear planning and presentation.

At the onset of this month, the students tried exploring and analyzing the adaptive traits of animals through the

In order to throw more light on the topic, a research based project was done in the class which was duly assessed.

conducted after the completion of the lesson. As the students participated enthusiastically and actively in the

teaching learning process, all the concepts related to the chapter were clear to them.

MATHEMATICSIn today’s world, critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning ability and ability to communicate mathematically are

essential skills. These skills are developed through hands on activities in the classrooms.

In Mathematics, the students solved problems related to the chapter “Fractions and Decimals.” A research on

‘Decimals’ as a project work helped them get a clear picture of decimal number and also deduce its application in

real life.

In the forthcoming days, the students will be taught “Metric Measurement” and “Area and Perimeter.” We would

use Yardstick while teaching the lessons in order to enhance the measuring and computational skills.
