An organization in support of sustainable livelihoods, registered as a society under the Societies registration Act 1860 in the state of Assam, on 12th February 2002.

This is a grass root NGO involved in microfinance and livelihood support services;

Promoting eri-sericulture livelihood based is a domain livelihood intervention.

Works for microfinance & livelihood sectoral development in the Northeastern Region in India;

5. Diversion Based Irrigation…..provided canal irrigation to farmers from 9 villages in Kamrup district and pipe irrigation to the farmers of 3 villages in Kamrup and 1 in Goalpara district.

6. water Hyacinth Based Craft Project … With the support of Nedfi, Provided training to the poor women to make diff rent Items –bags, file covers, containers, ear rings, etc….as a dependable activity …..

7. Fresh Water Mud Eel Project (West Garo Hills) :To encourage beneficiaries of West Garo Hills of Meghalaya ,about Asian Swamp eel culture technology & feeding techniques

Unpredictability of rain fall and lack of control on water flow during Sali(Kharif) season;

Free grazing of cattle and for them who adopt SRI it becomes difficult to protect their crops resulting in lack of interest to do SRI during Boro(Rabi) season;

Practice of multi cropping is yet to be developed-clash between traditional vs modern practices;

Farmers are more accustomed to paddy cultivation only whereas other crops fetch better returns.
