About the presenterKevin O’Brien is an onscreen editor and Microsoft Word expert with nearly 20 years’ professional editing experience, starting at LexisNexis in London in 1998 and working as an in-house senior editor for Random House in Sydney from 2007 to 2012. He now lives in the Adelaide Hills and performs freelance edits for the Big Five trade publishers, as well as being an ebook producer and the editorial director of the digital publisher Hampress. He teaches a broad range of publishing subjects, but specialises in running editing-onscreen courses for organisations including the Australian Publishers Association, the University of Sydney, UTS and the state-based Societies of Editors.
