Granberg® work gloves were first introduced in 1961, more than 50 years ago. Today the company has grown into a leading manufacturer of gloves meeting numerous needs of an ever increasing and highly demanding industry worldwide. Granberg’s headquarters are located in Norway. The company serves important segments such as construction and building industries, oil- and gas, assembly and engineering, petro-chemical, food processing etc.

The product portfolio comprises more than 250 styles of gloves for a wide range of industries. The success of the company’s product development and product portfolio can be traced back to its experienced R&D team and close customer relationships. Furthermore the chief engineer holds a master’s degree in polymers and textiles with credentials also including a PhD in Materials Engineering. Hand injuries are some of the most costly and common injuries within several industries. Granberg offers intelligent glove solutions to reduce hand injuries drastically and thereby cut-ting down unnecessary expenses. We do not only help reduce costs for the employer, but also the mishap and dangers to the affected worker. A small cut injury can cause long-term tendon or nerve damage that a person has to live with for the rest of his life. One of the major occupational safety concerns are hazards associated with impacts and falling objects. The gloves’ state-of-the-art patented impact design and high quality materials reduces strain over prolonged periods of use, yet provides excellent protection from impacts. Granberg offers several gloves with impact protection.

Good grip materials are provided to Granberg’s gloves providing an enhanced grip ensuring maximum safety as you work with slippery tools, climbing ladders and so forth. Also a perfect fit is essential.

Granberg® gloves can be shipped to any destination at very short notice from the company’s logistics facilities in Norway and Sweden.

Enjoy this small leaflet, and always request and trust Granberg® gloves for your safety and for your comfort!

Sincerely Yours

Ole M. GranbergCEO

European Glove Standards General Requirements

All protective gloves must comply with EN 420 – General requirements for protective gloves. The only exceptions are insulating protective gloves for working with electricity and single-use gloves. EN 420 regulates the minimum requirements for a glove.

CategoriesIn order to comply with a number of requirements in the commercial sector, protective gloves are separated into three categories: Category I: For minimal risks. Category II: For intermediate risks, e.g. mechanical risks. Category III: For irreversible or mortal risks, e.g. injuries from chemicals.

The type of hand injuries that occur in the oil and gas industry have inspired us to develop a great variety of gloves. Crushing, pinching, cut and puncture hazards are very common. Workers involved in the areas of drilling, transportation, construction and refining face the same problems. Granberg has the solutions. Give us your problem and we will help you deal with it.
