1 FLY TO PHOENIX • SEDONA: We transfer to the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport this morning for our flight to Phoenix, Arizona. Upon arriving in Phoenix, we’re met by our deluxe motorcoach and begin our journey to Las Vegas. The sights along the way will be breathtaking! Watch for the awe-inspiring red rock formations as we make our way north to the beautiful town of Sedona, where we’ll spend our first night. Sedona is located in the high southwestern desert at the southern end of Oak Creek Canyon. In addition to being a popular site location for western films and commercials, it is also a center for contemporary and traditional arts.

2 OAK CREEK CANYON • GRAND CANYON: From Sedona, we travel through Oak Creek Canyon and Flagstaff to make our way to the Grand Canyon. We travel through spectacular red cliffs, stands of aspen, cedar and oak, and abundant wildflowers to reach the South Rim, which is 7000 feet above sea level. Here, the canyon is a flat mile to the bottom. One of the most spectacular examples of erosion anywhere in the world, Grand Canyon is unmatched

in the incomparable vistas it offers to visitors on the Rim. Enjoy the sights of this natural wonder with its exceptional views and photo opportunities!

3 LAS VEGAS: Today we’ll set our sights on a wonder of a different type: Las Vegas, Nevada. We’ll spend the next two nights in the city that by its name alone summons images of neon lights and elaborate hotels and casinos!

4 LAS VEGAS • HOOVER DAM • OPTIONAL EVENING JEEP TOUR: This morning we travel to Boulder City, Nevada, where we tour Hoover Dam. Take an elevator deep into the heart of the dam to learn about the process of construction and to see the massive

turbines that provide power for millions of people. It is truly one of the world’s great engineering wonders. The rest of the day you are on your own to explore and experience Las Vegas, Nevada’s largest city, at your leisure. Walk or ride down the famous “Strip,” lined from one end to the other with glittering hotels, night clubs, and casinos. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, darkness falls and it becomes a whole new place.

5 LAS VEGAS • HOME: Our vacation of wonders, both natural and man-made, comes to an end today as we board our flight back to Charlotte.
