The program serves the city of Virginia Beach.

Project Performance to Date (if Continuation) Virginia Beach CASA served 181 children in FY15 with 69 active volunteers. Those volunteers provided 6848 advoacy hours to child abuse victims. 99% of CASA recommendations informed judicial decisions regarding court orders and service plans. The program has provided quarterly reports for FY16 and is on target to meet program goals for FY16.

The program serves Isle of Wight, Southhampton, Suffolk counties and the city of Franklin.

Project Performance to Date (if Continuation) Voices for Kids CASA served 27children in FY15 with 11 active volunteers. Those volunteers provided 962 advoacy hours to child abuse victims. 97% of CASA recommendations informed judicial decisions regarding court orders and service plans. The program has provided quarterly reports for FY16 and is on target to meet program goals for FY16.

Continue $91,607 $91,607 Grant Project Description The Lonesome Pine CASA program recruits, screens and trains citizen volunteers appointed to cases by juvenile court judges invloving children who are victims of abuse or neglect and are involved in the juvenile and domestic relations court system. The program serves Lee, Scott and Wise counties in the southwest area of the state.

Project Performance to Date (if Continuation) Lonesome Pine Office on Youth CASA program assumed operations of the Lee, Scott and Wise county CASA program on October 1, 2015. The prior oversight organzation, Commonwealth Catholic Charities gave notice in April, 2015 of their decision to cease operations of the program and LPOY agreed to assume responsibility. LPOY has met regulatory requirements for operations, attended training and recruited volunteers during the first 6 months of operations. The program is on track to meet program targets for FY16.
