Mathile Family FoundationThe mission of the Mathile Family Foundation is to create opportunities for children in need by focusing

Actuarial FoundationActuaries are business professionals who calculate the costs associated with risk, for example, for theinsurance industry. The Actuarial Foundation has provided grants for math education. The grant

Lowe’s Toolbox for EducationFor over five years, this grant program has provided $20 million to 5,000 schools nationwide. Grants of 

$2,000 to $5,000 are provided to schools or PTAs, with a preference for funding requests that have apermanent impact such as facility enhancement or landscaping. Projects that encourage parentinvolvement and build stronger community spirit will be favored. Information on the 2011-2012 grantcycle will be posted in mid-July.
