I tried to get my questionnaire filled out by the younger generation, so I got the ages from 12 to 19 to answer it so I have a wide range of people and answers.

The majority of the people said that they read/have read We love Pop most. This gives me an idea of which type of magazine they prefer, because some of these magazines don’t include everything the other one does.

For my magazine, I will be doing a front cover and a double page spread, So I asked this question to figure out what I should do my double page spread on. The majority put that they like posters so I will most likely make one side of my double page as a poster and then have the other side as a fact file or questions for a celebrity.

Bright and Busy or Dark and Serious?

When you look at a magazine, straight away you judge it because of how bright it is or how much stuff is on the cover. For me to know how much I should put on the front I asked this. The majority put bright and busy meaning that they prefer it when its eye catching, but a few put dark and serious so I may take it into consideration that it shouldn’t be so bright and busy that it gives you a headache.

Which name do you prefer?Princess Pop Daisy Pop Party Pink Hearts

I chose 4 names hat were girly and could fit a teenage pop magazine. Only two of them actually got votes. ‘Pop Party’ got the most votes so I will use that one for my magazine. I believe that the two names that were most popular is because its alliteration, also because they aren’t too girly. I will probably try and jazz them up slightly by changing the font and colour of them, perhaps even place an image in as a logo of some sort.

What colours should be used for a pop magazine?

PinkPurpleBlueYellowGreenOrangeWhiteBlackRed

This question was for me to know which colours people prefer to see in a magazine. I gave them the option of writing down as many colours as they wished in order for them all to like my magazine. Therefor I will be using pink, blue and yellow the most and then the other colours will be dotted around.

Which magazine cover do you prefer?

5 285

I used this question to know the sort of layout that people prefer. The most popular one was the Billboard one. Therefore I will try and use this one when I design mine and base it on this layout. I will also try and put some of the elements of the We love Pop and the Top of the Pops magazine in as well to make everybody happy.
