Craft Fair Saturday, November 10th is our Annual GMS PTO Craft Fair. Attached is the registration form. If you or anyone you know would like to be a vendor, please submit the attached form and payment via US Mail to GMS, or via email to [email protected]. The cost is $35 per table, per vendor. The deadline to submit a vendor form is October 10th.

What does the PTO do for your School? Do you know what the PTO does for Grayslake Middle School? Below is a list of examples of things that the PTO purchased for YOUR SON/DAUGHTER’s school:

1. Purchased 7 MOBI’s for the classrooms 2. Purchased 12 Headphone Splitters for the Music classes 3. Field Trip Scholarships 4. Many donations toward the Teacher Appreciation Week 5. Dinner on Thursday evening of both Conference Weeks (Fall & Spring) 6. New books for the classrooms and libraries through the Book Fair 7. 8th Grade Celebration 8. ….and many more!

Through your time, we are able to provide many things that normally wouldn’t be a part of the budget. We are going to try to keep you abreast of the things we provide during the 2012-2013 school year, so that you can see the tangible and non-tangible items provided by your donated time and money.

those who participated!!

Would you like to be a Chair for SCRIPPS? We are actively seeking a Chair Person for the Scripps fundraising program. Scripps is a program by which parents send in money for gift cards to stores they normally frequent (or would give as gifts at holiday/birthday times), and GMS PTO is given a percentage of the amount of each gift card purchased (the percentage varies by vendor). This is a great opportunity for a working Mom or Dad who wants to be involved, but doesn’t have time during the day or weekends, as it is something you can do almost entirely from home. If you are interested in Chairing this program, please send us an email at [email protected].
