Great camping at Holme Moss

Are you going to the Tour de France this year, why not try camping on Holme Moss. They have a lot to offer. They are located on the border of Holm Moss plateau. The sites are all flat and big in size 9mx5m, which means you can park your automobile next to your site. Effortless access from our Holme Moss grand departs camping to all point of interest.

The sites offer for washing and drinking there I cold water, free parking for all that are staying campsite, helpful/friendly staff, the local sports clubs offer showers and facilities, very secure bike storage, a map that has a marked route that goes to the Holm Moss Summit, toilets and 24 hour staff available. While visiting surrounding towns we will take good care of your bike if you bring them with. Motor homes, caravans and tents are allowed.

Tour de France Yorkshire camping is located on the Coddy’s farm. It has trouble-free access from all surrounding cities. It is ideal for viewing the major climb and highlights of Tour de France. You have fantastic views over the Holm Moss plateau. Some towns are within walking distance of no more than 25 minutes. There is a great number of pubs and restaurants to choose from. There is an array of routes and roads to bike on such as the Woodhead pass A628, Woodhead road to Glossop, A616 to the Flouch pub and many more.

Holme valley is the doorway the Peak district and enjoyed by all cyclists. The latest information is emailed to you from the Tour de France. There is a news letter that has all the information regarding the Tour de France including any road closings. The road closings do not hinder us in any way. You will have access to the camp site. So do not worry.

There will be a celebration in Holmfirth. There will be food, drink, music and other things to do. Then there is the Yorkshire festival. There will be lots of entertainment. The festival celebrates the last 100 days before the race begins. Most of the entertainment is free. You can also take your bike and take the route of the race and see flags and figures and illuminations that end up at Holme Moss.
