The Sprinter Legend features driver and passenger side airbags, four wheelanti-lock disc brakes with large windows and side mirrors for superior visibility. Climate and stereo controls are mountedin the large center console for easy access from the driver or passenger side. As in all Great West Vans the Legend also comesstandard with Smoke, LP Gas, Carbon Monoxide detectors and an on-board fire extinguisher in the kitchen.

Power To SpareUnder the hood of the Legend is a pow-erful yet economical 2.7 litre, 5 cylin-der, turbo charged diesel. The engineputs out 154 Hp and an astonishing243lb ft of torque. Power gets to thewheels through a 5 speed automatictransmission with Overdrive. The con-sole mounted “tap” shifter allows youto shift manually through the gearsfor proper gear selection while towingwith an Overdrive lock-out feature.

Abundant storage throughoutThe Sprinter Legend features 11 cabinets along the ceiling and a hanging closetbehind the bathroom for ample storage. In rear sofa models the sofa can be slidahead for a large rear storage area while traveling. In the fixed bed and twin bedmodels there is added storage underneath the beds that is accessible from bothinside and outside the coach. If you don't need extra seating the area can be usedfor extra storage. For extra hanging space simply order the optional extra closetcabinet to replace the third seat behind the driver.

The bathroom in the Sprinter furtherdemonstrates the creativity of ourengineering team. The bathroomtakes up very little floor space andoffers full privacy with its expandablebi-fold door design. Slide-Out rooms offer a modern answer to the need for more interiorspace without widening the entire van body. The BDF has more of everything you want in a van motorhome. The BDF has a largeprivate full height bathroom, complete with flush toilet, shower, vanity, medicinecabinet with makeup lights and a large hanging closet. All Great West Vans comewith the most fully appointed galley in any van motorhome. The standard featuresinclude a 3 way fridge (raised off the floor in the BDF), 2 burner stove with cover,microwave oven and a recessed sink with pull-out extension. All these featuresare conveniently located at your fingertips on the same side in the galley area.Galley conveniences also include the microwave, and coffee maker.

Side Sofa FloorplanThe Side Sofa (SSF) is an open,spacious floor plan and offerscomfortable seating for 5, abundantstorage, a fully appointed galley anda full size rear bathroom. In thecenter of it all is our unique “roll over”sofa. The engineering of the sofa isdesigned to take less floor spacethan other sofa designs. Thisingenious design provides an areabehind the backrest for convenientstorage of bedding during the day.The roll over sofa offers seating forup to 3 with seat belts in all seatingpositions and a deluxe pull downdrink tray in the middle. The sofamakes into a generous double bed(73” x 50”) and underneath the sofais an enormous drawer (50” x 20” x10”) that uses ball-bearing slidesfor easy access. Booth Dinette FloorplanThe Booth Dinette floorplan (BDF) is winner when it comes to interior storage. TheBDF interior storage includes large upper and lower cabinets. The non-slide modelcomes with a handy pull-out pantry. The two person dinette comes equipped withseatbelts for traveling and converts into a large double bed (75 x 50). All frontseats recline, swivel and have lumbar support. The BDF offers the most interiorliving space of any Class “B” on the market.

Mid galley floorplanThe Mid Galley floorplan (MGF) is our most flexible model offeringchoices of 2, 3 or 4 captains chairs plus the choice of a rear dinette orelectric sofa option. This means comfortable seating for up to 7adults. For your safety Great West Vans uses only steel frame seatingand all secondary seats feature shoulder or lap belt restraints.

Need more room to stretch? The MGF can be equipped with an optional Rear Slide-Out Room. The MGF has more sleeping options than other models. The rear dinette or optional sofa can be converted to become a comfortabledouble bed (74” x 50”) for a good nights rest. Plus the four chairs up front can be converted to make 2 single beds. In additionif the MGF is purchased in the full height Supreme model, a double upper bed can be added for a total of six sleeping spaces.Passenger comfort is not all the MGF model offers, it includes all the same standard equipment as all other floorplans with anabundance of storage. From the full height closet to the overhead cabinets and storage under the dinette or sofa, every bit ofspace is usable. Need more storage? The MGF is available with cabinets to replace one or both of the secondary captain seats.Use four seats for passenger comfort around town and replace them with extra storage cabinets before leaving for a long trip.You can also close the bathroom divider doors for a private changing area or separation of sleeping areas.

The twin bedswhen not in the sleeping positioncreate a rear dinette for dining,watching TV or E-mailing the grand-kids. The TBF is the ideal motor-home for the couple that wantsflexibility in seating and sleepingarrangements. In addition to itsflexibility the TBF still includes thefully appointed galley Great WestVans is famous for. As in all GreatWest Vans the front seats can beswiveled towards each other creat-ing a clever little dinette in the frontof the coach. In the TBF you can usethis front dinette for your eatingarea which allows you to leave yourbed made up in the rear sleepingarea.

The uniqueness of the King Bed floorplan is found in the abundance of additional storage.

King Bed FloorplanOur newest Ford model, the King Bed floorplan (KBF) incorporates all of the best ideas of the Twin Bed model but with itsown distinctive features. In the KBF features the same galley and bathroom area of the Twin Bed but with even more storageand the option of either a fixed 6" mattress or a tri-fold electric sofa for a large (74" x 74") rear bed. In the Classic roofdesign the KBF offers seating for 5 and sleeping for 2. The Classic Supreme with the addition of the overhead pull out bunkbed offers sleeping for 4. The King Bed comes standard with a luxurious 6" thick mattress in the rear. With the fixed mattressyou have a large storage area below the bed that is accessible from both inside and outside the coach. The optional tri-foldelectric sofa is popular for those who are looking for a large bed and the ability to carry extra passengers. The sofa can alsobe slid ahead 29" to provide a large rear storage area. The KBF also provides room for a table up front, simply swivel thecaptains chairs to face each other and you've created a dinette in the front of the coach. With a versatile floorplan, large bedsand tons of interior and exterior storage space the King Bed floorplan is sure to become a popular choice.

Both the TBF and KBF feature a multi-functional bathroom designed toprovide privacy and flexibility. Itcan be used as a private bathroomor the doors can be folded out tocreate a more roomy bathroom ora large private change area.

Original Steel BodyAlthough Great West Vans was the first manufacture to develop a wide body Class

“B” motorhome in 1991 we have since moved beyond that concept. Widening thebody without a wider wheel spacing below supporting it affects vehicle handlingcausing wallowing. Furthermore we found that taking away the seel body andreplacing it with fiberglass sacrificed the overall strength of the vehicle. Insteadof widening the body we have focused on developing more creative ways toincrease the usable space inside a Class “B” motorhome such as slide-outs.
