• To support different hydrogen business cases – it all starts with the actual costs of producing hydrogen.

• On-site production is often best in many applications – all depending on the actual consumption pattern and volumes

• GreenHydrogen can deliver small or big elctrolysersystems for on-site hydrogen generation – to fit the needs of the specific business case and application

• All you need is clean water and electricity - and we then deliver clean and dry hydrogen at 35 bar directly

• The cost of electricity corresponds to app. 62% of the production costs!

• As electricity is vital part for the hydrogen business to expand - delivery of renewable, green electricity at the right price is key!

Segment readiness Our deliveries

• HyProvide A and P series On-site hydrogen generator

• Complete Turn key solution for HRS

• Compression and storage solutions

• Complete Power-To-Power solutions

• Transport system for hydrogen (Virtual Pipe Line)

• Methanation solutions (Sabatier) with partners

Ready now for projects mainly for public transportation, logistic companies, forklifts, ships and cars

Industries today use hydrogen that typically are delivered on diesel trucks and that is not green. So it’s a question to replace delivered grey hydrogen with locally produced green hydrogen

Small off grid communities/houses can benefit form storing energy in hydrogen and use it to produce power and heat when there is no renewable energy available – in i.e. µCHPTelecom sites for long time back-up applications is a already existing market that is set to expand in the future

Power-to-Gas solutions where you have existing natural gas network and renewable energy sourcesMethanation for existing biogas sites to enhance the biogas and reduce CO2

BusinessopportunitiesHRS

GreenHydrogen can deliver:• HyProvide A and P

series on-site hydrogen generators for other HRS solutions

• Complete turnkey solution for HRS for 350 or 700 bar

• Compression and storage solutions

• Transport system for hydrogen (Virtual Pipe Line)

You will need to start with the actual consumers of the hydrogen which typically are:• Forklifts• Busses• Light Duty Cars wit Range extender• Trucks• Hydrogen scooters / bicycles• Ships• Cars• …

Business opportunities are to build and operate HRS for specific customers – with the possibility to start at low volume and expand when customer base increases.

The selling price of hydrogen is vital to make a good business case – Production prices for delivering 1 kg hydrogen at the pump starts around 6-9 €/kg – and selling price is around 10-15€/kg – so there is room for a margin if there is enough sales.

• Compression and storage solutions

• Transport system for hydrogen (Virtual Pipe Line)

Industrial hydrogen consumers are typical:v Chemical plantsv Metal productionv Fertiliser productionv Oil & Petroleum refineriesv Electronics producersv Food processingv Perfume & essential oils productionv …

These typically receive “grey hydrogen” delivered by diesel trucks.

Business opportunities are to build and operate on-site hydrogen production for bigger customers – and for smaller customers to deliver clean green hydrogen to their factories. So it’s a question to replace grey hydrogen with locally produced green hydrogen – reducing CO2 and transportation.

Today the selling price of hydrogen to industrial customer are around 7-25 €/kg – all depending on location and volumes, so there is a margin to be made based on the production price of 3-6 €/kg.

Power-to-PowerOff-grid installations

15

BusinessopportunitiesPower-to-PowerGreenHydrogen can deliver:

• HyProvide A and P series On-site hydrogen generator

• Compression and storage solutions

• Complete Power-To-Power solutions as Hydrogen-Battery

The advantage of using a “hydrogen battery” is primarily long time storage without self discharge. You can i.e. produce in summer and use in winter – or make you own long time back-up energy storage when no renewable energy is available.

Small off grid communities/houses can benefit from storing energy in hydrogen and use it to produce power and heat when no renewable energy is available – in i.e. µCHP or Power-to-Power. This segment is primarily remote/off-grid communities and also clean green communities wanting to be independent.

Long time back-up applications for telecom/RBS sites is already a market set to expand in the future – and again especially where you need a long time, clean silent backup with low maintenance costs the Power-to-Power solution is very interesting.

Larger sites can also use the hydrogen battery solution to store MWh of energy with a small footprint. However this market is early stage (but still doable, even based on current technology).

Business will mainly be project based – and normally be part of a full off-grid solution with renewable energy production.

BusinessopportunitiesPower-to-Gas

GreenHydrogen can deliver:

• HyProvide A and P series on-site hydrogen generator

• Compression and storage solutions

• Methanation solutions (Sabatier) with partner

The Natural gas network – is the biggest available energy storage system in the world. You can transport the energy over big distances with practically no loos. Hydrogen can be injected directly into the natural gas network – and thus you can convert renewable energy from sun/wind/water into hydrogen and use it in the existing infrastructure. These projects are today driven by owners of Solar Power Parks and Wind Power Parks that are looking for ways to have a higher price for the electricity produced – and as electricity is the highest operational cost for producing hydrogen – these owners can end up with having a higher profit from their investments.

Methanation for existing biogas sites to enhance the biogas and reduce CO2 and then inject the CH4 into the natural gas network is a growing business – and naturally is depending on price of CO2 and the price of selling the gas to the network. The business opportunities exists – but needs the political willingness to support it before it will become a viable business – independent from subsidies.
