REVOLUTIONARY TECHNOLOGY FOR UNIFORM,

DEEP HEATING OF DERMIS AND SUBCUTANEOUS

TISSUE WITH NO PAIN AND NO NEED FOR

SUPERFICIAL SKIN COOLING.

CPCP®® TECHNOLOGYTECHNOLOGYHOW DOES IT WORK?HOW DOES IT WORK?

High frequency generator generates the electric field between the applicator and reference electrode (plates). This electric field exerts a force on electrically charged objects. Both plates are insulated from the tissue.

Electric current flows only from one plate to another through G – but does not flow through the tissue/patient.

CPCP®® TECHNOLOGYTECHNOLOGYHOW DOES IT WORK?HOW DOES IT WORK?

The electrons within molecules are influenced by the electric field, causing the molecules to rotate slightly from their equilibrium positions. The friction caused by such movement of the molecules generates a heat. Additionally, the small charged particles travel from one plate to another what generate the circular currents what also results in minor tissue heating.

CPCP®® TECHNOLOGYTECHNOLOGYHOW DOES IT WORK?HOW DOES IT WORK?

MOST IMPORTANT:MOST IMPORTANT:The ELECTRIC FLUX DENSITY is much HIGHER in the tissue under the applicator (small surface) than in the tissue under the reference electrode (large surface), so a significant increase in temperature is detected only under the applicator. The increase in temperature under reference electrode is too small to influence the tissue.

CPCP®® TECHNOLOGYTECHNOLOGYHOW DOES IT WORK?HOW DOES IT WORK?

The alternating current alternately charges the plates: first in one direction and then the other. The rotation of molecules and movement of small charged particles constantly change the direction (refer to the blue and red charges).

CPCP®® TECHNOLOGYTECHNOLOGYHOW DOES IT WORK?HOW DOES IT WORK?

Such movements can occur only in the tissue that contains water. As stratum corneum (outermost layer of epidermis) cells (mainly dead cells) contain keratin, the heat is not generated in this particular skin layer. That in fact prevents the skin surface from temperature increase, so no superficial skin cooling is required in order to protect the skin surface.

CPCP®® TECHNOLOGYTECHNOLOGYHOW DOES IT WORK?HOW DOES IT WORK?

Consequently, most of the heat is deposited in dermis and subcutaneous tissue – exactly where it is needed. The increase in skin surface temperature is due to transfer of heat from the deeper skin layer to the surface (from hot to cold).

CPCP®® TECHNOLOGYTECHNOLOGYWHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?

The main advantages of CP technology over classic “resistive” technologies are:

No current flow through tissue/patient; No current flow, no contact resistance; No contact resistance, no heat on the skin surface No side effects caused by the current flow through

the tissue; Lower energy applied for the same results – faster,

safer, more controlled treatment!
