Green Production Module CertificationCertified by the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC)
St. Charles Community College(SCC) has developed a new, nationally recognized “Green Production Module” (GPM). It sets a new high performance national standard for the “green” knowledge and skills of production workers in all sectors of manufacturing.
The certificate includes skills training the following areas:•
• Conducting environmental incident and hazard investigations•
SCC has recently added manufacturing classes to follow the National Association of Manufacturers’ training model. These, flexible lab and classroom opportunities allow local participants to earn industry-recognized credentials that validate their skills in current manufacturing processes.
Program Support Specialists are available to help you succeed with your program application, training and career goals.
MoSTEMWINs grant serves the following eligible participants:
• TAA (Trade Adjustment Assistance) individuals•
Unemployed•Underemployed•Low-Skilled•
Veterans and spouses of veterans
Some participant costs will not be covered by the MoSTEMWINs grant. However, additional financial assistance may be offered to eligible students through the Missouri Career Center in St. Peters.
St. Charles Community College is among nine colleges in the state of Missouri that have been awarded federal funds from the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training Grants Program. The federal awarding agency is the Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration.
