o Be Green means being aware of our interconnectedness with the
world and reflecting on the unintended damage we cause nature in
the daily course of our lives. Be green means to think ,act green,
and taking corrective action to make environmental responsibility a
reality.
o To be Green you should know how to Reduce, Reuse,
Recycle. Reduce YOUR CONSUMPTION The first step to reduce
your impact on the environment, is reducing the amounts of
resources you consume and use. Think twice before you buy or use
anything. Do you really need it? By reducing your consumption you
will also decrease the amount of waste you produce.

Edit on screen, not on paper.
o Use e-mail to minimize paper use.
o Send and store documents instead
o When you must print or copy, do it double-sided.
o Circulate documents instead of making an individual copy for everyone.
o Change the margins to save space..
o Turn off printers, especially laser printers, unless printing.o Don’t use power strips to turn on all computers and desk equipment at once.o When purchasing computers and peripherals, buy low wattage equipment.o Minimize use of screen savers and enable power management features.o Purchase only energy-efficient products Turn off computers when they are
not in use. Or use a power policy
Reuse: designate scrap paper box, Refill the printer cartages, Use papers printed before as drafts.
