Hazchem stay long in the environment (water, soil, ice); and hard to break down. 有害化学品会长期存在于环境水域,土壤及冰中,且难以完全分解。

Hazchem can build up in the bodies of organisms over time, and they can be spread via the food chain. 有害化学品会在生物体内蓄积,并通过食物链不断向其他物种扩散

EDCs (endocrine disrupting chemicals) disrupt the proper function of the body’s hormones. Sometimes EDCs severely impact development of the brain, nervous system and reproductive system.内分泌干扰物有时严重阻碍婴儿脑部,神经系统及生殖系统发育。phthalates (邻苯二甲酸酯 ), alkylphenols(烷基酚 ), bisphenol A(双酚 a) and some types of brominated fire retardants(部分阻燃剂)

Hazchem have a range of toxic effects to animals and people. They may cause cancer, damage the nervous system, disrupt the reproductive system or alter the function of hormones…有害化学品对生物产生毒害。引起癌症,神经系统损伤,生殖系统等

> A plant with 5 dyeing machines will need about 250kg of dye, along with other additives. Approximately 2500kg of dyestuff paste circulates the plant every day. Binhai Industrial Zone.> 滨海工业区中一家工厂 5台印染机消耗 250公斤燃料及添加剂。每日有 2.5吨染料运到工厂。

> Industrial wastewater containing hazardous chemicals is discharged into the Cihaur River which feeds directly to Citarum River. The government has indicated that PT. Oriental and PT. SMM. > Tullahan River running between barangays 160 of Caloocan and Gen. Tiburcio De Leon in Valenzuela. Residents in the area say that the formation of suds, sometimes of pink, blue or green color is a common occurrence in that part of the river.> 菲律宾境内 Tullahan River地区的居民透露河段上时常出现粉红,蓝色或绿色的皂状物质。

> Many factory are lined along with canals of Chao Phraya whose waters have become unsafe and unusable for the communities that live around it. There are more than 242 factories located within 700 meters on both sides of Samrong canal, with various types of industries such as textile- dyeing, metal plating and chemical industries.> 在 Samrong 运河两侧林立着 242家工厂,其中不乏纺织印染,金属板材和化工厂,河中水质污染已对居民生活造成影响。
