If you wish to substitute greetings in any of these cards, just adjust the height and width of the stamped layer and its mats accordingly.

While all the cards in this booklet have measured layouts, I hope you’ll feel free to use them as inspiration—use different papers, stamps and measurements to make the perfect card for you!

When you insert paper into the Banner Triple Punch, make sure your paper is centered and pressed all the way to the back.

Different cutters/trimmers may cut papers slightly differently. Don’t hesitate to trim papers or lay them out differently to make a good-looking card. This is especially helpful when you are dealing with small

measurements, such as 1/8” or 1/16”.

In constructing smaller pieces with stamped images in Cards 1, 3, 4 and 5, you might stamp on a larger piece of paper and then cut it to size according to where your image is stamped.

When tying Baker’s Twine to the three banners in Card 2, I found that allowing the twine to lie on one side of the topmost curve made the bows lie better.

In Card 2, if you do not wish to use the Candy Dots, stamp the image up a bit further than the tutorial measurement so that the image will fill more of the space vertically.

In Card #5, you may wish to add Candy Dots to fill in the space to the left and right of the greeting.

Tutorial Tricks and Tips

About Robin Messenheimer Robin Messenheimer is an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator whose favorite part of her business is teaching classes and writing instructions for making greeting cards and other paper crafting projects. She has published three eBooks with greeting card layouts in the past. As far as Robin is concerned, the best reason to make greeting cards is to have cards to send to people. Cards that are easy to make are more likely to be used. Cards that are a standard rectangular shape and that have a minimum of bulky embellishments are less likely to require additional postage—and therefore more likely to be used. That’s what you’ll find in Greeting Card Layouts by Robin. As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Robin is also very pleased to use only current Stampin’ Up! products in her projects when she creates them. As Stampin’ Up! retires products that are in these cards, using new products to complete the cards in this set is always fun. The products used in this set are in current Stampin’ Up! catalogs through May 31, 2016.
