The Hydraloop system has been designed to provide a self-contained, high quality greywater recycling system. The Hydraloop system is an innovative in-house water recycling system which collects shower, bath and washing machine water. The Hydraloop cleans and disinfects the water, recycling up to 85% of total in-house domestic water used. The Hydraloop is unique because it is a complete greywater recycling system combining tank, filters, pumps and controls all in one unit.

The Hydraloop is designed simply for plug and play installation. The unit can be offloaded from a delivery vehicle and connected to your appliances with minimum cost of installation for filters, tanks, control units and header tanks located around the building. This all in one unit will save time on installation costs, save water and save money on your water bills as well as contributing towards your sustainable goals. The Hydraloop system can be used in domestic environments typically of 4-6 persons and is suited for new builds and retrofit projects.

The Hydraloop unit is designed for installation inside the building, ideally located close to wastepipes delivering a supply of water to recycle from showers, baths and the washing machine. The unit can be located in a utility, garage or basement depending on the property type.

• The unit should be installed on a suitable floor / base capable of supporting the Hydraloop unit together with the weight of the water at full capacity and associated pipework

• The unit requires access for maintenance with a minimum of 600mm above, 1000mm in front of the cover and allowing for the floor to be drilled out for connection of pipework.

• The unit requires a temperature controlled environment

This system supplies a direct, pressurised supply of water to appliances using a small membrane booster pump. During periods of insufficient recycled water, an automatic supply of mains water is used to top up the system via a compliant air break.

The unit will require services for:• Incoming gravity greywater supply from shower, bath and

washing machine (not the kitchen sink)• Hydraloop overflow should be fitted to waste soil pipe• Mains electrical supply• Mains water supply for top-up for period of low recycled

water• Pressurised supply of fresh, clean recycled water to points

of use, such as toilets and washing machines etc

*For periods when there is a low yield of recycled water, it is important to ensure that there is a mainswater backup with suitable pressure to match the demand of the system.

Technical Information

The Hydraloop is manufactured and delivered to site for rapid installation. All systems are tested by Stormsaver, a full certification is given on completion for warranty purposes.

Caution: Care should be taken to prevent cleaning products entering the incoming greywater inlet. Do not use chemical cleaning products such as bleach, for cleaning bathroom fittings etc. The chemicals can damage the filtration process within the Hydraloop system.

Only use biodegradeable cleaning and bathing products.
