“My experience of having heart rhythm problems drove me to pursue cardiac nursing and ultimately the specialty of electrophysiology. It is often comforting for a patient to hear my story when they may not know anyone else who has gone through the same thing. I know how much curing my arrhythmia has changed my life and it is a blessing to be able to help others in the same way. - Crystal Oglesby, RN, BSN, RCES, CEPS”

GIFTS OF GRATITUDE

How do you say thank you to someone who made a difference in your life? Perhaps someone who saved the life of a loved one or made your hospital stay or a treatment as comfortable as possible?

A meaningful way is to make a gift of gratitude to GRHealth. Your gift expresses your appreciation, celebrates your special caregivers, and makes a difference for other patients and families in the future.

SAY THANK YOU, TODAY!

Gifts of gratitude may be made in honor of a doctor, nurse, other caregiver, or volunteer. You may also celebrate staff on a floor or in a department. Gifts of all sizes make a difference. When you make a gift honoring your special caregiver(s), we will inform them of your generosity, without specifying the amount of the gift.

HOW ARE GIFTS OF GRATITUDE USED?

Charitable gifts to GRHealth are used to benefit patients, families and the community.

They support doctors, nurses, and caregivers. Donations also fund advanced technology, new program development, staff education, and areas of excellence such as cancer or

heart care.

When directed by the donor, gifts may also benefit lifesaving research and medical breakthroughs.

All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Thank you for your gift of gratitude! It is deeply meaningful to GRHealth caregivers and to the patients who will benefit from your generosity.

Excellent care is a patient expectation. It’s “a given”. The patient expects us to be certified and knowledgeable doctors... period. As for excellent service, the key word is compassion, and reflects back on our oath to always see our patients as fellow human beings in need of our care. If we remember that, then providing excellent service becomes second nature to us, and by example to our nurses and support staff. - Dr. Julian Nussbaum
