preCiSion and perfeCtion.ensuring the quality demands of our customers for our clamping devices for the industrial production we apply leading edge measurement technology (coordinate measuring machine) and testing procedures. This pre-cision confi rms the requirements for our manufacturing, enabling us to produce clamping tools with concentricity less than 3µm. On request all clamping devices are deli-vered with test report to document highest quality de-mands.

We have on our command the current version of 3D CaD Solidworks and are using the Finite element Method (FeM), the most advanced calculation and design software for the design and manufacturing of special clamping devices. The specifi cation sheet for customised clamping devices we defi ne in close cooperation with our customers.

Our customers wishes and requirements we conceive as a constant challenge.

Comparable to the attempt on the record on speed clim-bing at the Nose, a 1000 m long climbing path at the El Capitan (Yosemite Valley, USA) of the rope team Alexan-der and Thomas Huber (Huber Buam). Exact preparation, detailed planning and the needed will to break the speed record are prerequisite for such achievements.

On October 4, 2007, with 2:45:45 hours (normal climbers take 3 to 5 days) the Huber Buam arrived on their target.

Standard CLamping CoLLetS and ChuCkSexact concentricity, highest precision and longevity are quality marks of our collets and chucks. When manufac-turing all design features are produced in accordance with the predominant usage. Standard accuracy ranges up to 10 µm, for more demanding requirements we can achieve < 3µm. Vulcanisation of our collets takes place in-house.The clamping surface is manufactured with smooth, cross-grooved and with both transverse and longitu-dinal grooves. SpeCiaL CoLLetS and CLamping headSDepending on the clamped workpiece and the in-serted clamping devices we will manufacture all cus-tomised geometries and diameters from Ø 0,130 mmup to Ø 300 mm.

Production will be in accordance with customer drawings or on the basis of our own design. Special carbide inserts, either glued or soldered, improve lifetime. additionally coatings increase wear resistance, prevent gumming at the location bore, avoid clamping imprints and increase holding torques.

mandreLS and SLeeveSWith our mandrels our customers are – in accordance with appropriate dimensioning – able to clamp accurately very differing workpieces. The corresponding clamping sleeves are in relation to the workpiece clamping.

Our patented “Optispring” offers an alternative to vul-canised clamping sleeves. Its spring based innovation doubles lifetime and therefore availability in our cus-tomers manufacturing is increased. The innovative design of Optispring will let the operator conduct repair himself.

We deliver standard mandrels, clamping sleeves and segment clamping sleeves as well as special mandrels and expanding mandrels such as:

ChuCk JaWSFor decades our customers have appreciated our high precision chuck jaws.

The combination of selected materials and the in-house heat treatment guarantees high quality chuck jaws. For the production of our chuck jaws with application spe-cifi c properties, we use premium materials.

For maximum repeatability of our products the mount of the jaw chucks (grooves or serration) is grinded and therefore optimal machining results for our customer’s productions is guaranteed.
