Purpose of seminar and teaching targets

DR. FRANZ GLATZ

Dr. Franz Glatz ist seit 1. Juni 2017 Geschäftsführer der Digitales Gründerzentrum der Region Ingolstadt GmbH. Der promovierte Chemiker wird das Zentrum aufbauen als auch dauerhaft leiten und versteht sich selbst als Vernetzer und Vermittler zwischen Startups, Wirtschaft, Politik und der Öffentlichkeit.Der heute 52-Jährige begann seine berufliche Laufbahn als persönlicher Referent des Präsidenten der Technischen Universität München. Seine ersten Berührungspunkte mit Gründern hatte er bereits wenig später zu Zeiten des Neuen Marktes als Senior Manager in der Investment Banking Abteilung der Bayerischen Landesbank.2002 wurde Glatz Geschäftsführer des Garchinger Technologie-und Gründerzentrums (gate). 2007 übernahm er zusätzlich die Geschäftsführung eines Inkubators in Unterföhring an dem neben dem Freistaat Bayern unter anderem auch der Medienkonzern ProSiebenSAT.1 beteiligt ist. Aus diesem Projekt entwickelte sich in den Folgejahren das heutige WERK1 in München, welches Franz Glatz von März 2013 bis Mai 2017 als Geschäftsführer leitete. Das vom Freistaat geförderte Gründerzentrum vereint heute auf 4.000 m² Inkubator, Coworkingspace, Eventlocation und Café und ist der zentrale Treffpunkt der digitalen Startup-Szene der Landeshauptstadt.Franz Glatz arbeitet seit über 16 Jahren eng mit Gründern und Startups zusammen und gilt als ein Gesicht der Deutschen Startup-Szene. Der geborene Neuburger war sechs Jahre lang Vorstand des europäischen Verbandes für Inkubatoren und Akzeleratoren und hat darüber hinaus diverse laufende Lehraufträge an Hochschulen und Universitäten. http://www.brigk.digital/vorstellung-dr-franz-glatz
