Whether you are planning an intimate lunch for a special occasion, celebrating your engagement with cocktails & canapes, or feasting with your family, we have a space that’s perfect for you.

With the flexibility to custom design menus to suit taste, style and budget, Grosvenor Hotel can create the ultimate dining experience.

Located within minutes of the CBD and with excellent accessibility by both public transport and car, Grosvenor Hotel is a venue which is easy to reach yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life to really relax.

We don’t charge a hire fee, instead there’s a minimum spend for each space that must be met, which contributes towards your food and beverages.

To confirm your date, we’ll take a deposit and you’ll sign the T&C’s.

The remaining amount is then paid 2 weeks prior to your event, when you confirm your catering selection, dietary requirements and final number of guests.

Please note: Surcharges apply during peak season & public holidays.

NUMBER 10

Number 10 is our premium, exclusive event space. Featuring a foyer where you can welcome your guests, chilled out lounge, and dance floor, this amazing space has it all. With its own private bar, private bathrooms, and private entrance, you can wow your guests from the moment they arrive.

Located on the first floor, up a flight of original wooden stairs, the foyer has lush velvet seating and dramatic floor to ceiling windows looking out onto treetops. The lounge area with relaxed seating is the perfect place to chill. You can even have a heaving party on the dancefloor, complete with disco lighting and mirror balls. TENTATIVE BOOKINGS & DEPOSITSTentative bookings will be held for seven days upon request. In order to proceed with a booking a signed Booking Form with a valid credit card & signed Terms & Conditions must be returned and your nominated deposit amount paid, within seven days.

CANCELLATION POLICYAll cancellations must be made in writing to Grosvenor Hotel.1. 30 days or more prior to the booking - If the booking is cancelled 30 days or more prior to the

booking date, the client shall forfeit 50% of the deposit.2. 8-29 days prior to the booking - If the booking is cancelled between 7-29 days prior to the

booking date, the client shall forfeit 100% of the deposit.3. 7 days or less prior to the booking - If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to the

booking date, the client shall forfeit the entire deposit and in addition the full balance of the minimum spend will be charged to the credit card provided.

CONFIRMATION OF FINAL DETAILSFull confirmation of your catering and beverage details along with final guest numbers is required 2 weeks prior to the event.

PAYMENT STRUCTUREFull payment of required minimum spend or catering requirements based on your confirmed guest numbers (whichever is the greater), is required no later than 2 weeks prior to the event.

PRICESAll prices are inclusive of GST. Prices and menus are subject to change. A credit card surcharge of 1.2% will apply to all transactions paid by Visa or Mastercard and 2% for Amex or Diners. Functions held on a public holiday will incur a 15% surcharge.

EVENT DURATION & ADDITIONAL TIMELunchtime events run for four hours from 12pm until 4pm and evening event for 5 hours with access from 5pm til 1am. Access outside these hours may incur an additional fee and is negotiated by your Event Manager.

DAMAGE TO VENUEAny damage sustained to the venue by guests will be deemed the responsibility of the host who will be financially liable for repairs. Grosvenor Hotel accepts no liability for the damage to or loss of guest’s property.

TERMINATIONGrosvenor Hotel reserves the right to cancel the event if management have reason to believe the event will adversely affect Grosvenor Hotel’s guests, business, security or reputation. The deposit has not been paid by the due date, or the minimum spend not paid in full 2 weeks prior to the event.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOLGrosvenor hotel has a strict no BYO policy that applies to all bookings.Our team practices Responsible Service of Alcohol and by law may refuse alcohol to any guest who is deemed to be intoxicated and/or disorderly. In accordance with the Victorian liquor licence act reserves the right to ask any guests to leave the premises if they believe that the guests are intoxicated and/or disorderly.

Furthermore, the Grosvenor hotel also reserves the rights at its discretion to terminate a function/event at any time during the course of the function/event without recourse if they have reason to believe the event will adversely affect Grosvenor Hotel’s Liquor licence, guests, business, security or reputation as result of intoxicated and/or disorderly patrons.

ENTERTAINMENTMusic in the Cocktail Bar, Bistro and Atrium is background music appropriate to the time of day. Entertainment may be sourced independently or through Grosvenor Hotel for Number 10 and the Private Dining Room or alternatively, iPod compatibility is available. Please liaise with your Event Manager before engaging the services of any entertainment providers.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTGrosvenor Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of tram line 67 which stops on Brighton Road, outside our front door and tram line 78 which stops at the end of Chapel Street. Tram lines 16 and 3a are within a 5 minute walk and stop at the corner of Chapel and Carlisle Street.
