The order listed here does not determine the order in which they will be played. Balanced lists able to complete a variety of the

missions listed in each scenario will be key to victory in this tournament. Good luck to all of you.

Scenario OutlineAll scenarios listed here use the following basic set-up with unique modifications. Please read this core outline as well as each scenario carefully as scoring points and win conditions are not exactly the same as listed in the Warhammer Fantasy 8th Edition Rulebook. Each player scores both victory points and Scenario Points throughout the game. These points are used for determining both the winner of the game and the amount of Scenario Points you are awarded for overall positions. Ensure you are familiar with the way points are scored and understand both players may walk a way with a variety of Scenario Points each game.

The ArmiesEach army is made up of the 2400 point list each player crafted for this tournament. The list cannot be changed before scenario and must be played as submitted unless altered by a judge for a valid reason(over/under points etc)

The BattlefieldTerrain is preset and may not be moved, except by Wood Elves using their unique Spell Lore (please see the Warhammer Fantasy Player Package for more detail). Some tables with have special or unique terrain with additional rules. These rules will be labelled at the table and will follow them. In the case of magical or mysterious terrain, these will be marked as such.

Deployment and Turn OrderOnce objective markers (if any) have been placed and special terrain rules understood, players will roll off to decide deployment order. Follow all normal deployment rules for the Deployment style listed in the Warhammer Fantasy 8th Ed. Rulebook. Each scenario is clearly listed which Deployment style it will follow.

Game LengthEach game will last 6 turns, ending on the close of the second players sixth turn. The game may also be called Dice Down due to the round time expiring. Please ensure you follow the rules for Dice Down as listed in the Warhammer Fantasy Player Package.

ScoringAt the end of each game calculate the amount of victory points both players have earned. Include all victory points listed under Victory Conditions (see page 143 Warhammer Fantasy 8th Ed. Rulebook). Once victory points the player with more is consider player 1, while the player with less is player 2. Determine the difference in victory points between the two players and use the chart below to determine the amount of Scenario Points scored by each player.

Please note that each player may earn Scenario Points. Once these are figured out, add them to the amount of Scenario Points earned for completing the scenario objectives (see scenario) and report this to the Judge(s).

Tabling an OpponentPlease note that should you table an opponent (remove every single model from the table in a turn) the game is over regardless of any models that may be in reserve. Count the game as though Dice Down has been called and calculate victory points as normal. Any scenario objectives that were achieved by either player in the dice down state (or before) will count for the player who scored them. Keep in mind both players may earn Scenario Points at the outcome of the battle despite a tabling.

Scenario One Massed Armies

DeploymentThis scenario will use the Batteline style deployment (see page 144 Warhammer Fantasy 8th Ed. Rulebook).

Victory ConditionsAt the end of the game tally all victory points earned and consult the chart (see above) to determine Scenario Points earned by both players.

Objective Slain GeneralAt the end of the game each player receives 1 Scenario Point if their opponents General was killed in a challenge. They gain an additional Scenario Points (for a total of 2) if their own General is still alive and not fleeing at the end of the game. Please note that you do not get the Scenario Point for your General being alive if your opponents General is alive or was not killed in a challenge.

Objective Grab the Colours! At the end of the game each player receives 1 Scenario Point if they have captured the opponents Battle Standard. They gain an additional Scenario Point (for a total of 2) if they have captured all the other standards of their opponent as well. If the opposing army has no Battle Standard, then capturing all other standard is worth 2 Scenario Points instead of 1. If the opposing army has no Battle Standard and no other standards you automatically score 2 Scenario Points.

Objective Break ThemDuring the game the player who is first able to break an enemy unit and destroy them (or remove them from play) achieves this objective. That player earns 1 Scenario Point.

Mission Special RulesNone

Scenario Points Earned for Player 1 Scenario Points Earned for Player 20-300 9 9

301-600 10 8601-800 11 7

801-1000 12 61001-1200 13 51201-1400 14 41401-1600 15 31601-1800 16 21801-2000 17 1

2001 and up 18 0

Margin of Vic tory (In Vps)

Scenario Two Death Before DishonourBattle lines have been drawn and both forces demand the attention of their gods. Such demands come with a cost though and those found wanting in the gods eyes will suffer worse than death. Knowing this each solider prepares to die before they surrender.

DeploymentThis scenario will use the Dawn Attack style deployment (see page 145 Warhammer Fantasy 8th Ed. Rulebook).

Victory ConditionsAt the end of the game tally all victory points earned and consult the chart (see above) to determine Scenario Points earned by both players.

Objective Slain GeneralAt the end of the game each player receives 1 Scenario Point if their opponents General was killed in a challenge. Both Generals know this and have chosen to makethe dash for the supplies a primary focus of the coming battle. As the battle starts both forces will manoeuvre to gain advantage, but which will make it through the line?

DeploymentThis scenario will use the Battleline style deployment (see page 144 Warhammer Fantasy 8th Ed. Rulebook).

Victory ConditionsAt the end of the game tally all victory points earned and consult the chart (see above) to determine Scenario Points earned by both players.

Objective Slain GeneralAt the end of the game each player receives 1 Scenario Point if their opponents General was killed in a challenge. If that unit is destroyed or flees from the table it is worth 1.5x (rounding down) victory points. (So a unit worth 287 points would instead be worth 430 victory points)

Scenario Four For the GodsA faint glow from the idol attracts all eyes. Both armies look upon it and know that the Gods themselves are watching with interest, and the touch of the idol will bring them the glory and the victory they sorely crave.

DeploymentThis scenario will use the Blood and Glory style deployment (see page 148 Warhammer Fantasy 8th Ed. The player who achieves this objective gains 2 Scenario Points.

Scenario Special Objective Kiss the IdolThe first player to Kiss the Idol (see special rule below) earns 1 Scenario Point.

Mission Special RulesIdol: The objective placed on the board is an idol of the gods.
