GROUP DISCUSSION: MNCs ARE BOON OR BANE TO OUR INDIA???

PRAVEEN KUMAR:Good morning friends! Today we are going to discuss about MNCs in India.PRIYADHARSHINI:MNCs has led to the growth of our nation. Because of mncs our lifestyle has changed. We have learnt many things on how to live and our creativity has also improved.PRAVEEN KUMAR:Our minds have got illuminated by this foreign ventures; We have entered into many unknown domains and attained success in them..It has given us confidence to shine in any domain.NISHA:Moreover MNCs has led to the growth of Indian companies too.TCS,INFOSYS,WIPRO etc have become MNCs to give a tough competition to others. This should be seen as a positive growth.KOWSALYA:From my point of view MNCs are bane .The best point to support my view is that mncs has changed our lifestyle and has introduced night shifts.night shifts are nightmares especially for women.

PRAVIN:Yes, we have to work for other countries according to their work hours.this causes serious health problems.KOTHAI: According to me MNC's are not at all devils. Many of our friends are saying that MNC's make the employers to work for more hours but every man achieves his/her goal by working hard.Without working hard man cannot be benefited.LOGESHWARI :.we must think 20 years before ,there wasnt even proper road facilities but today our infrastructure has grown enormously due to foreign ventures. Our Indian cities have growm humognously in par with the best cities in the world.NAGAARJUN:Just open your eyes wide and see.we dont have agricultural lands now .all of them have turned to industial plants by so called foreign ventures.PAVITHRA.A:But do you know our govrernment is actually encouraging agriculture by providing incentives to our farmers.

PAVITHRA.B: MNC culture builds a good competitive platform that gives rise to the products of high quality at most affordable rates. The per capita GDP growth sees a boost. The neighbor countries can have better professional relationships. It paves way for the mergers and acquisitions resulting in improved economies of scale.PAVITHRA.K: I agree with her MNC is the convenient way to carry out the cross border trade and reduce the fiscal deficit. The foreign funds can enter in the domestic world. They provide the endless job opportunities to the people. Employment rate improves with the new multinational corporations.

KOWSALYA: Every coin has two points. One is positive and negative. The MNCs are beneficial rather than negative points. But I am against this. Because they provide the job only to the best students of India like from NITs IITs etc. What about rest population, this is difficulty 1% of the total population. Provide the costly things that can't affordable by whole India. They use the people like a machine,so we need to think about it.

NAGAARJUN:MNCs has split our families. Many of our joint families have now become nuclear families.it has detoriated our culture and values. It has also affected our children and makes them to fall in wrong culture.

PRAVEEN KUMAR:Yes you are absolutely right , nowadays both the parents are working in MNCs and they dont find time to spend with themselves and children. This leads to lonliness and children get addicted to social networks and mobile phones.

KOTHAI:Even the parents themselves loose patience and get stressed easily. This has even led to broken families.

PAVITHRA.A:hmm..What I think is that this problem can be solved the parents. They can properly plan and allocate time for every work.so that this can be easily resolved.PAVITHRA .B:One of the main problems in these days is corporate culture.MNCs have created their own culture in their environment and make the employees to follow thatPAVITHRA.K:Yes,due to this corporate culture we tend to forget about our tradition and dont respect our elders.

LOGESHWARI:This has caused serious problem in our society and many abusations occur daily based on this to women.children and aged people.NISHA:Apart from cons, MNC culture builds a good competitive platform that gives rise to the products of high quality at most affordable rates. The per capita GDP growth sees a boost. The neighbor countries can have better professional relationships. It paves way for the mergers and acquisitions resulting in improved economies of scale. PRIYADHARSHINI:Though we can give many arguments to favour the MNC culture in India, still we cannot deny the fact that it has overshadowed our rich culture, civilization, respect and human values. Even if we keep apart these abstract emotions, the MNCs havent left us healthy enough to enjoy the wealth that we earn from their lucrative salary and the incentives. All we have today is gloominess with pockets filled with hot cash. Our life style has modernised and standard of living has raised, but we lack time to enjoy all these stuff. Thus, the MNCs are no more than a curse for our country.
