Pink Group Information

Pink Group are Letter Name Alphabetic (Late), Consonant Blends and Digraphs spellers based on the “fan-riding” spelling inventory from Words Their Way.

Their words consist of two sets. The first, sight words, are from the Magic 100 Words.

The second set are based on Words Their Way and concentrate on consonant blends and digraphs.

The “1st try…2nd try…” boxes are for the students to tick when they spell the word correctly during Look-Say-Cover-Write-Check. They do this up to four times per week.

The sentences provided on the right side are for use during the partner spelling test.
